SH vs South Doyle I will take SH in a super close game. May come down to FT. Tenn High vs Mo East I am going to take East in the mild upset. They always perform well in the region and TH seems to falter Mo West vs Crockett No West in a landslide. Jeff Co vs DB Probably the best of the four games. They split and know each other well. I am going to say coin flip on this one because I just don't know but if I had to pick I am going to say DB IF the salyler gets heathly in a close one.

Looks the top 4 seeds move on. SH will be in the finals I'm almost positive. The other game will be a toss up. I'm taking DB cause of home court.

Crazy... Volunteers finished tied for 4th but lost out on the tie breaker. It would not surprise me if the beat DB

Tennis... I have to disagree with out hustle. I'm sure Boone was playing hard. I'm sure they gave their best effort. I would believe they would have been prepared or they do need to make a change if that wasn't the case.

Apon further asking others who were there stated that players were taken out after one mistake or no mistakes while others were left in the game for the same reasons as stated above. Sorry to hit a nerve Tennisman but let's here your take from someone who "was there".

It's not heresay if they were not in the game late. I did more asking and know pierce was only in the last play and #12 was on the bench. Is that not a fact? Pierce was not in the game the last minute or two. Coach choose to play others. I'm sure he may have his reasons but 6 2 is something you can't teach or guard well with a 5 9 post like crockett had. Enlighten me with you discussion of the game.

Bonne conference record is 18 and 20 in the past 3 seasons. Overal they are 5 wins over 500 in the past 3 seasons. It wasn't for lack of talent. Jenkins Carmichael and Vazquez have all been there. This season they gained a 62 girl. I wasn't at the game but talked with people who were and she was not in the game late nor was the little good guard 12. Boone will not make a change though because parents rule program. Administration will be too scared to make a change

Well my preseason number 1 team capped a disappointing season by losing to David Crockett in the first round regionals. Whoever is first in D2 has a good chance of making the region semi now, noth that they didn't have one before but now it becomes almost a lock.

Didn't see that coming or at least that bad. I thought it could have gone either way. McGue not playing hurt but you guys hit free throw line jumpers all night off the press and traps. We were Brick city baby.. As Dickie V says.

Sciemce Hill gave Elizabethton and all they wanted for three quarters not just a half. The three at the end of the third quarter was a huge momentum swing for Betsy. Elizabethton dominated the last half of the fourth quarter

I am really disappointed in the amount of chatter or lack there of for this tread this season. We have had parity across D1 and D2 for the most. YET NO one is talking about the games or teams. Is it that all the chatter parents have moved on? OR does no care about basketball in this corner of the state? Middle TN has all sorts of threads running and good dialogue. NOW...post season is here next week. What do you all think? I think West takes D2 and DB takes D1 upsetting my toppers. I think we have too many close games not to stumble. I do like how they are playing 8 or 9 kids every night. I saw in the paper that the JV one their championship, so maybe all the experience will pay off. I still think the region is M.West's to loss.

I didn't know the boone job was open? If this happens Boone might make the state tournament quickly.

SH all but wrapped the league title with a surgical performance on Boones defense. I was amazed at how well SH is playing defense as well. The HUGE post was nonexistent. One more observation was the lack of fire Boone showed. Back a few years 5 or 6 Boone teams wouldn't lay down. With that said I still think the top 4 in D1 are SH Tenn High DB and Boone. Should be an interesting post season

I hope they try and can't make the team. It was like watching AAU craziness light night. Let's shoot 35 footers and have a 6'7 kid shoot the 3 instead of trying him in the post. But I guess that may clog the lane for Good to drive. It truly was daddy ball. It's a shame. I would be upset if my kid was on that team.

From what I saw tonight...Crockett is not a state caliber team. They are a one man band and if you do not see that then you don't know basketball. SH played as a team which is a good win. This is the third time I have seen Crockett and I see an undisciplined team that just watches Good jack up deep 3's and then goes and rebounds. I'm not saying anything bad about Good, he is crazy talented. This is the worst basketball talented team SH has had in years and Best Crockett team ever and could not get the win.

D2 schools can't play in the Maui Invitational. I looked that one up. I know for a fact Betsy has dogged competition but that is here nor there. Those are good wins I didn't know NF was undefeated. Crazy don't get your panties in a bunch. As for smelling a gold ball if that is the most important thing in your life then it must not be a filling one. I played in two state finals and was lucky to win one but I don't relive the past. It's just a trophy in a case at my high school. I miss my team not the championships.

That's funny. I am by no means jealous. Evry coach wants to push the limits of their team but yet Betsy always plays it conservatively. That's all. I never mentioned SH you did. Just because I have topper in my name doesn't mean I do not like good basketball. Your comment sounds about like someone from Hampton though.

Hoover is not the best team in AL. But it was a good win. You guys brag and brag but have you played a nationally ranked team? No. 67 isn't ranked. When you play a top 25 and win let us know. Go play in the Nike or Naples tournament and then brag. Elizabethton is a really good double A school in TN they would be 3 or 4 a in other states so don't keep playing the we beat a 6a team card. FL has 6a schools to but those girls can't even dribble. Quality wins out and they don't have that many. Yes their schedule is better this year but not as good as it could have been. Were they in the turkey jam? No they played at happy valley... How is that making you better? I'm not knocking the team because I think the girls are good but I want too see HOW good they can be. That is my point. OH and Fulton isn't that good so you were spot on there.

I agree. All the coaches last night where into the game from what I could see. You can can tell they are improving. As for Boone, maybe Blazer or MissBBall can tell us. It will interesting to see if SH can stay under 20 of West though. Don't they play next week?

Zach.. Stay off our tread for your advertising. Now the SH game was good SH lead from tip to horn. I thought SH is getting help from others besides Gregory. That will help. I Also keep seeing the True kid on the bench but not in uniform, what is wrong with her? I would have guess she would be a starter. They have now beat the 3 top teams from the district, but have one more in Surprising Crockett who beat Boone. What is wrong with them? Coach better be put on notice. Talent=wins but when talent=losses you lose your job.

Thats the point DA ... They only play when they can win, but your young arrogant mind doesn't seem to grasp the concept. They could play anyone because they make their schedule but choose not to. This they stepped it up a tiny bit but should have made harder. I still they win it all this year and next for that matter. They go down as they greatest AA team in our area.

How are your Blazers doing? They could get to 3 -1 in conference with a win over surging Crockett tonight. What has been the difference in their turn around?
