Ridge is getting what he deserves. He tried to bring some of his staff over and they turned him down. Ridge deserves every loss he gets. No respect at all for that goon. The unemployment line starts at the corner...

Don't bash me too hard guys, it was just very odd to see a HS staff that involved every play. We like to do our coaching during the week and let them play on Friday night. Maybe you guys can try that this week

I'm for the small school too, the one with 290 actual students...lol. Good luck to the Kees this week, it will be a tough one, but you guys have been in tougher games. Keep District 3 rolling. Give us an update on Anderson if you get a chance, I've had several people ask me about his progress. I had a GCA dad ask me about him last night at Oneida. Thanks.

One thing that I noticed last night was how much the Oneida staff was yelling EVERY play to the players on the field. It felt like a pee wee game with that much yelling and "coaching" going on each and every play. Does that happen each week, or were the coaches just pumped up about the playoffs?

I can understand your position and the opinion of the Tiger faithful that have seen these TWO Inman brothers grow up there. Should they have gone to a larger school? Maybe. Maybe they would've been a smaller fish in a bigger pond. My point is, go somewhere that gets a ton of publicity AND media coverage to get recognition for the ultimate goal...a scholarship to play ball and get your school paid for. This is a very touchy subject, and I'm sensitive to the situation. I recognized and talked about the Rockwood fans that gave a great ovation to Demarcus during his Senior Night last week. A true show of class and respect to a great kid. I interviewed him on the post game show and he acknowledged that he heard the roar. That's a memory that he will never forget.

I was there tonight and loved the atmosphere and the tradition at Oneida. I told one of our players that there's been a lot of great teams and games played on that field. What I saw was a very disciplined Oneida team that blocked well and opened holes against the much larger defensive line of TP. The game was well played on both sides of the ball, by both teams. It was smash mouth football by both teams.

I haven't seen any film on Trousdale this year. I know what GCA has. It would be a great game if we both make it that far. GCA has a lot of work to do to make it through Quad 1. Playing a storied program like Trousdale will be like playing South Pitt, as far as history of the programs. That was a great home/home for our school to be a part of. Good luck to everyone that made it to the second season, it's playoff time!

Congrats Boyd on the District title. Tough season for you guys, but you came out on top. Cardwell is a leader, look out in the playoffs.

I've got Quad 1 in 2A like this: 1. GCA 2. Hampton (they won their district and get priority) 3. Silverdale 4. Oneida 5. Tellico Plains 6. Rockwood 1st Round Rockwood at Silverdale (they know their way to Chattanooga by now) Tellico at Oneida Corrections would be welcomed. I think Tellico wins the tie breaker with Rockwood for the 5 seed. Thoughts?

My understanding of the rule is that the W and the L ount. Otherwise, the playoff formula would be compromised.

I think AC will even the series Friday night. Kids don't want to play for Halls. The program has fallen so far that it will take several years to rebuild. Good luck to Coach Overton, he has quite a task ahead of him.
