Hardangle. The Bearden job has just went public. They are actively taking apps. Like I said before there is one person that will be helping with the search. The person is outside (kind of) of the program. The catholic AD is supposed to be taking apps, but I'm not even sure he knows garland resigned yet. He's still thinking about the Fulton game. I know a lot of boys on the Fulton team. They are ready for the next round.

Scott. Other than you saying AC is probably the best HS program in the area (which I have to agree with) what are you smoking??? the other stuff you say makes no sense. I'm sorry to say but HS volleyball is only to have fun. Other than that it gets you no where unless you have an OUTSTANDING program like AC and Webb, that is willing to help their girls get to where they want to be. Other than that, the other high school coaches could care less.

This topic is called the "State of Bearden Volleyball". I just want to recap some of the things I have pointed out since I joined coacht. 1. The coach had an agenda. I said he was starting KVA for one person and only one person, and I said he was taking the Bearden job (after Garland turned it down first) for one person and only one person. That is the "agenda". 2. I also said when the one person he took the job for left, then he would leave. Face it, that's why he took it in the first place. 3. I said that he was late for last years banquet and only gave out 3 awards. I then said, "wait until next years banquet. He won't be late and he will give out a lot more than 3 awards. I will tell you. I have confirmed this to be true by SEVERAL parents that were there. It's all part of the "agenda". The parents that stuck up for him, are now figuring out the "agenda" is a real thing. He promised a lot of things at his club and delivered on about 30% of them. The parents aren't happy either. If you were part of the U17 team last year you were happy. If you are a part of the U18 team this year you will be happy. I bet you can guess why. All the other teams took a back seat last year and they will again this year. This is all from statements parents have made. Bearden volleyball is much better off now that the coach left. K2r..You were slightly right when you said most people knew he was leaving. The Bearden parents didn't know, they thought he was telling them the truth, but you know who knew? The administration. They knew the "agenda" and knew he was gone. Ask the former Bearden coach if the AD took it tough when he learned of him QUITTING?

K2r. I hate to burst your "contact" bubble but lets get a couple things straight. 1. The former Bearden coach has NO SAY on who the next coach is. 2. The former CN coach is NOT being talked about for the job. She will be the last one asked if she is asked. My daughter may play next year now that the coach is gone.

I TOLD YOU MORE THAN ONCE WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO!!!!! I hate it for the parents that were misled or lied to. 2players you can say misled and I respect your wording, but the parents were lied to. There is no way around it. He said all those things to the parents and the girls, while all along he knew what e was going to do. I'll go into more about this later. He is who he is and he does have an AGENDA. 2players, Do you see that now? 2Players. All this will work out. I'm pretty sure I know who BBV is talking about (the person who will influence the hire) and they are pro Bearden, Pro Volleyball and they want the best for ALL the girls. This person wants the KVA, K2 and non club girls to all be successful.

When do we find out if this bearden rumor is official?

the coach at Bearden has not resigned. He also has NO say on who the next coach will be. He may not even be asked about who should fill it. The reason he asked Muncy to coach at kva was so his daughter could go to Carson Newman. You see what happened there don't you. Remember the "agenda". It's still in full force. BBV or k2r, have you asked anyone how the Bearden volleyball banquet went? Remember when i told you a while ago that he was there for 30 minutes last year and gave out 3 awards and that when it came to this year it would be a whole lot different? HAHA you should ask around and see if I was right..

You call that a "coaching" staff at KVA? You must be joking. They have a bunch of players that, wish they could play D1 volleyball, coaching for them. There are NO volleyball coaches at KVA. Also the rumor around town is the parents aren't very happy with the way things "didn't" go down as promised last year at kva.

Mincy will not get the Bearden job. Doesn't matter if she wants it or not.

You asked me who I would like to have and then you tell me Bearden can't have them. the question wasn't, "out of the coaches that may take the bearden job, who would you like". You just asked who I would like. Those are the four. I wouldn't take williams, foster or petrik Together let alone one of the 3. They are TERRIBLE. ALL 3 OF THEM!!!! K2 when did you get to Knoxville? Do you know the volleyball history? If your child never played here how do you know which coaches are good and which are bad? What do you think about Williams, petrik and foster?

K2R. There are 4 coaches that would be good for Bearden. In no order. 1. Chris Hames 2. Andrew Garland 3. Tom Paszko 4. Pam Bonee

Of course I wouldn't take her. If she was any good she wouldn't be where she is.

Because she won't. Like I said. The coach is still there. Not resigned not fired.

Shannon mincy will not be coaching at Bearden!! Last I looked, Bearden's coach hasn't resigned or been fired. If either of the two happen Shannon will not be hired.

When will Bearden and Farragut get one?

There isn't any pressure for the girls to play KVA but those that don't will be dealt with accordingly. That's why the picture was put up and not took down. If the girl missing would have played for KVA the picture would have changed. Yes CBFO is affiliated with KVA. That's where they play their games. Kva should actually rethink their affiliation with the person who runs the league.

Black ops is a great program. It's an option for those girls that don't play High School. Is it for everyone? No. You have to want to work and truly get better. The person That runs it is very good and knows what he is talking about.

I wonder if the parents will blame themselves for this one? Not bad coaching. There is no instruction on how to get better from the head person on the bench. The girls are left on their own to figure things out. The person that helped the girls the most is playing college volleyball now. I saw that myself and my daughter basically said the same thing.

K2R Why are you always right? These people always want to blame others. This subject wasn't brought up because someone complained about it. It was seen by a farragut parent who in turn brought it to BBV's attention and BBV thought is was classless. BBV brought it to the board and thus it became a discussion topic. Most on here agreed and put in their 2 cents. Which is what your supposed to do on a message forum. Good discussion from both sides. It just so happens to be pretty cut and dry on who was wrong here and I think someone's nerve was hit. Asking a family what their thoughts are has nothing to do with why this discusiion happened in the first place. Great. The family could care less. luvmygirls already predicted that. We all could have told you that. It's not about the family its all about what happened and why the coach let it happen. It all goes back to "the agenda" remember the agenda?
