Good Luck to both teams...should be a good one. White Station has some very impressive athletes and when facing the wing T assignment football is vital. Kudo's to the coaching staff at White Station...They have come a long way from the beginning of the year. If you had seen thier earlier scrimmages you would not have bet on them to make a State Championship run. Should be a great game.

Working the officials is part of coaching....If Coach Bowers felt as if he could get a competive advantage then thats part of the game. Fooltball is an emotional game and after that late hit he had a right to be upset... None of us know what was said during the course of the game but the referee could have gave a warning earlier in the game BUT after that hit at that stage in the game emotions were going to erupt. There is not enough on video to support having Coach Bowers suspended for supposed physical contact. The disparity in penalties means nothing...a good Offensive line is taught to hold. Ensworth is well coached and is a very good football team and I am certain the TSSAA would rather the whole matter not even happened.

Wes...Great list ......You need to look at the MUS player MLB Michael Fitzsimmons. He started as a sophmore and did not play last year to focus on baseball and is an Ole Miss baseball commit. He came back his Senior year and in only 8 games starting he has turned in a 17 tackle performance vs South Panola and a 19 tackle game vs Lafeyette HS and according to my sources either leads MUS in tackles or is near the top with over 100. I saw MUS play vs MBA and South Panola and they are much better than people think on defense. He did not start the year due to injury so you may have not seen him vs BA. I go off of what I have seen and a few other coaches and officials that I speak with. I am certain your list is spot on and all of these young men are worthy choices. I have seen Ensworth on television this year and I know they will be a provibitive favorite vs MUS(or anyone) in the championship game and that is with thier head coach or not. But like they say..."You still have to play the game".
