I understand people getting upset because their child or teammate did not make this all-star team. I get that, but what I hate to see is this organization (that is trying to do such good for these kids) is getting absolutely bashed. Whenever someone gets upset we start yelling about politics and who to blame. Why can we not be happy that some kids that may not be recognized as much as others are now being noticed as being deserving of such an honor. I would like to thank MTSCA for striving to raise the level of high school softball.

What is everyone's take on the subject now that season is almost over? Does anyone know what the standings are in this district as of this minute????

I think it is an extrememly tough district. It will be interesting that is for sure. I'm eager to see other opinions.

Marshall Co. beat Columbia 7-3. I heard that MC had like 20 hits. Columbia did not pitch their ace, but still, that's alot!! I hear that MC also left about 9 on base. That will have to get better, but not a bad start.

The only ones Marshall County lost were their left and right fielders. Lintz is a senior this year.

Does anyone know who won the Giles Co. vs. Page game last night???

I just want to clear up my "human" comment about Owens. I meant it as a compliment. I don't want anyone taking it the wrong way! She is OUTSTANDING and I only wish we had a pitcher with the determination of that young lady. I have no doubt that night against Coffee County will only make her better and give her more fight. That could be a scary thing for everyone else in that district!!! Good luck to LC.

So Chelsea Owens IS human after all. I was beginning to wonder! Tough loss to LC.

What about Marshall County? They led Brentwood throughout the entire game, but let them tie it when the time ran out. They won the rest of their games. They are a team that is often overlooked. Watch out come May.

What about Marshall Co? Didn't they come in 2nd in the state and are returning most of their players?
