I agree with you. After seeing both I'll take UC by at least 2tds. MASE is not as good as last year.

Lake County beat Middle College by 30 last year. Has Middle College improved 30 points. LC is not quite as good as last year but it's not that much of a difference. Did Middle College get a bunch of transfers or were they a young team last year?

I am not sure. Alot of those teams they play are worse than teams in our region. Westwood, Middleton, BTW all would get blown out by teams in region 7. Nothing against them but that's just the way it is.

Lake County will travel to Memphis to play Middle College. The game is scheduled to be played at Cordova High School. I do not know anything about Middle College. Apparently they played MASE close. Any information on Middle College will be appreciated.

If MASE is comparable to last year's team then they are a very good team. I know they lost a linebacker who was a game changer and I heard they lost a few linemen from last year. They return an outstanding running back. They were big and physical last year not sure about this years team. I know that they are well coached. That is something that is not typical for most 1A schools in Memphis.

Thursday night UC loaded the box. If that's UC regular defense then fine but it is still loading the box. Anyway, good luck to UC.

UC will win this game big. If having 8 in the box and the safety 8 yards off the ball with the corners rolled up is not loading the box then I dont know what is.

IMO Moore County will play one of MASE, UC or Dresden in the semifinals. McKenzie and Moore County both have a cakewalk to the quarterfinals. Dresden and UC path is more difficult than McKenzie and Moore County. Despite what is being said in noway is McKenzie the team they were last year. This McKenzie team is a solid team but not even close to last year's team. I mean no disrespect to the rebels but it will be Moore County advancing to the semifinals and it will not be that close of a game. If I am wrong I will gladly eat my crow.

LC didn't have any problems in Orange Mound last year. Nor did LC have problems there in 2018 and 2017. How many starters return for MASE from last years team? I heard they lost the monster of a linebacker they had from last year.

Wild Bill nothing against MASE. I just can't figure them out. I thought coming into the season that they maybe the team to beat in the West. They thumped Peabody but then they played a close game with Middle College. Maybe it's like you said. They just had a bad offensive night. We all will get a good indication on how good everyone is in the coming weeks. I don't think there is a team out there as good as McKenzie last year.

McKenzie should win this game but it will be closer than most think.

I could see that also. They have a QB that reminds me of Tanner Snyder. I still think MASE in the 2nd round will be a very difficult challenge for them.

Bigster UC will have a tough road to get to Thanksgiving. MASE in the 2nd round in Memphis will be a very tough game for them. If they survive that they would more than likely play at Dresden.

35 to 8 at half. Mullins has 150 yards in the 1st half. UC runs kick back with 12 seconds left in 2nd qtr.

UC is winning game 28 to 0 2nd qtr. Mullins with 110 yards with 2: 20 left in 2nd qtr.

Lot of the bad of the falcon qb is not on him. LC lost their 2 best receivers from last year. 1 to graduation and the other transferred. The qb looked good last year when he had those 2. Currently nobody has stepped up in the receiving department this year. I don't think the kid forgot how to throw the ball. LC will have to be able to throw the football tonight and moving forward. That maybe a tall order but you never know.

No doubt UC will key on Mullins. I guarantee that they will have 8 to 9 players in the box. LC will have to complete some passes to loosen things up. Throwing the ball has not been LC strong suit this year. It's no secret what UC is going to do offensively. The question will be if LC can slow it up some. LC will not shut UC offense down.

They very well maybe up to the task. I still say Mullins get over 100 yards in the game. Dyersburg has the best defense statistically in the area and they gave up 147 yards to him on 18 attempts. LC may give him the ball 30 to 40 times.

This game could be a better game than most think. Just depends on which Lake County team shows up. UC has a good defense but they will not stop Mullins from the 100 yard mark. Now if Mullins can go for 200 plus then it will be a tight game. That will be easier said than done against the Tornadoes. The Lake County defense will have to play better than they have all year if they want to have a chance to win.

If it were up to me no public school would play a D2 school but it's not so I will leave it at that.
