  1. Not automatically they can just not play each other the first game so they could actually be in the same bracket.
  2. All I know is a very underestimated Meigs team goes on the road to a very talented Cloudland team. Be aware Meigs has one of the best offenses in the state if they get HOT at the right time. As for CSAS and Van Buren I'm sorry just overmatched. CR and JC are just toooo good. But who knows lightning could strike. Good luck to all .
  3. Well unfortunately you didn't watch the same game I did. And what do you mean we played 4 on 5? That's ridiculous I don't think anyone that was there would deny that our girls were a little flat the first half and Grace played with a lot more intensity than games past. Its a shame that a team loses 3 games and some idiot blames the coach. Their is a lot of teams that would have loved to just have lost 3 GAMES. And if you have a problem with COACHING find another team to watch. IMO if you sign up to play for any coach you play for that coach regardless what happens. Its easy to coach from the stands--we all do it-- but do it to yourself. Grace had a good night and we didn't that's the short of it but to blame it on one kid is ridiculous. REMEMBER ITS A TEAM SPORT. And anyone that was there also realizes that what the coach was dealing with while the game was going on was enough to distract anyone.
  4. OK you may be right but on the other hand CAK wouldnt be even thinking about adding a 5'6" player either. As for playing multiple sports BOOHOO she's not the only kid that plays multiple sports and struggles with workload. Its just ridiculous that the administration allows this to happen. Its her choice to play 2 or 3 sports. The parents of the girls on the team should be infuriated. They made it this far without her. Any coach that would agree to letting a girl play another sport up to District time then cherry picking is not much of a coach IMO. Win or lose play with what got you THERE. Ridiculous Rule.Adding depth is one thing but adding a 6'6" starter is another. CMON CAK we really know what's up. Really hate it for the girls that have busted their butts .
  5. Just a real shame Copeland and Swafford were overlooked. Single A missed on the Swafford girl from Meigs. 2000 point scorer ....3 years of it in AA.... Best A player in Chattanooga Area and maybe the State. Seems like Coe had it won this year before it ever started. Just a real shame. CONGRATULATIONS to the finalist.
  6. Ridiculous...... single A is a joke......Guess if you play in Chattanooga area you're automatically disqualified. HMMMMM we will see...cograts to finalist. Just some really good players left out.
  7. Why are girls quitting? Why are coaches quitting? Sounds like their might be bigger problems other than sickness and injury. Which by the way every team has to deal with.
  8. Maybe if everything plays out right we might get to see a JC- Meigs matchup in the 1st or second round at State. Maybe then Meigs and Swafford might get a little notoriety. Good luck to all.
  9. DISAGREE. Apparently you have not seen Meigs Counties Emeleigh Swafford play. I have seen them both and to say no one is in her class is ridiculous. Their is NO ONE in A that can guard this kid. A must see.
  10. Everybody has seen JC and CR and both are real good BUT having seen both IMO the only team that can match up and play with either is Meigs. 4 seniors and a very good sopmore. They are very experienced and talented. The Swafford girl should be at the least in the final 3 for Ms. Basketball. Don't forget about MEIGS.
  11. I disagree Cody.....no one this year really knows who the starters were gonna be from game to game right? So saying 3 starters were out is misleading. That bench at Central is as good as anybody's. Anyone on that bench can start any night. And the loss to Meigs was at the roundhouse and everybody knows how hard it is to win there. And yes that freshman class itself could beat a lot of high schools by themselves.
  12. Really should give Emeleigh Swafford at Meigs a look. She has led her team to a very impressive record thus far. And is averaging around 24 a game. Surrounded by senior talent and a pretty good bench and IMO one on one their is NO ONE can guard her.
  13. I totally agree anything can happen. And yes your right if Meigs and Oneida win out could be a pretty good Region and Sub-state.
  14. Meigs is the top team this year. Emeleigh Swafford is the best I have seen play this year. She dropped 43 on a very very good Hampton team. Their bench is not real deep so if their is a week spot in their armour that's it but all around they are pretty good .4 Seniors start so they are experienced.
  15. That's a tough one...Guess we will never know but everyone has an opinion. By 15 no way.
  16. Great game......with all due respect.....you can't say your best player is out after a loss.. Cmon this is Central they have 10 good players every year. Its a shame to even think that. That bench is as deep as any. Might have the best freshman class in the state.
  17. Meigs will be very very hard to beat.....
