I totally forgot about MAHS, yes I expect them to be a contender as well. There is just so much basketball talent in Memphis area. No way anyone could make a list of contenders without naming at least 4-5 schools from Memphis or Shelby Co from all 3 divisions.

Adamsville could be a contender. Probably should have went farther this year. I heard Campbell opened some eyes this past weekend in AAU tourney in MS. As I said before Mitchell and Union City would have to be the favorites. I also think Trinity would have to be mentioned in a group of 10 that might make state tourney. I think they return everyone.

Union City will be a favorite no doubt. TCA will be a team to consider since they only lose 1 senior. Mitchell ofcourse. Adamsville, will have possibly the best player in single A next year so maybe them but I don't think they are well coached. Other teams mentioned have solid programs and coaching. I hear Perry County should be very good next yr.

Thanks for the figures on Franklin. It does sound like if he wasn't in the game it actually wouldn't have been a completely different outcome for TCA. I could understand if he scored 20+ and had 10+ assists or something. Based on the Jackson Sun comments by Coach Northcutt Trinity did not shoot ball very well either. That may have been a big factor.

How many points and assist did Franklin get in BTW/TCA game? Score was 62-34.

MAHS played Mitchell to 22 pt loss last night. I don't think y'all would beat MAHS, unless it's a home game for Trinity. That's an advantage that Trinity definetly has had in the past few years. In reality, Adamsville must have played BTW better than Trinity. Wasn't there just an assumption based on score, point total. Riverside and Adamsville beat Trinity this year.

Can't argue Trinity record over the last 3 yrs. I don't know if they are a lock to win district next year or not. I'm not saying that anyone from Decatur Co will stand in their way but Adamsville will be hard to contend with. They have one player I don't think any team can stop and they will have that Birchum kid back too. Trinity may be different as compared to other teams because they do have all their players back next season but I don't think any othe 15A teams can keep up with Memphis. Adamsville is in same boat as Trinity with bball players that play football too. They have a real good football program.

That was the Cambell kid from Adamsville. He is a jr by next yr he may be best player in west tn. It's hard for rural players to compete with the speed from Memphis especially when they don't play against it until Feb and by then it's too late. By rural I mean outside of Jackson area. In Trinity's defense they have mostly young players I think. Will Franklin from BTW play in college somewhere?

Franklin only had 13 or 14 pts against Adamsville on Saturday. The word I got was that they had 3 other players in double digits. Balanced scoring. BTW couldn't stop Cambell from scoring. Trinity has balanced scoring and play hard nose defense. A lot better than Adamsville players.

Heard the Campbell kid scored 30 plus on BTW tonight. Adamsville is not real deep. Trinity's depth and balance should help them on Tuesday night.

What are Bradford's stats? Payton Hehe from Riverside averaging 24 a game.

Doesn't the voting rely mostly on actual stats for the season instead of opinions? I am sure that there are many quality players across the state that are the key players on their respective HS teams but what are the stats in comparison?

Dasonta Bradford, Humboldt should recieve this award. Very talented player and has lead his team to State Tournament and State Championship. Others for consideration, Scott from Huntingdon, Campbell from Adamsville, Hehe from Riverside.
