Juat an FYI, the three girls that you claim that there is a bias towards are not just one sport athletes. All 3 play and excell in multiple sports! Two of the three kids you claim that Odom gives bias towards are allstate in basketball AND soccer and the third is allstate in three sports (basketball, soccer and cross country). PS everything in this world revolves around the almighty dollar and I would bet that there are 20 times the subscribers to The Jackson Sun in Henderson and Jackson as there are in Brownsville. Congrats! Upper Cumberland always has some great talent! Unfortunately these girls all split up in High School so there will be no dominant force in the HS ranks. This makes the 7th grade on even keel with the 8th -!2th grade talent in TN. Great talent that is not necessarily concentrated in any certain area! Kudos go to whoever was able to get all these girls on the same team! Now the challenge becomes how do you keep them all together for 4 more years!

South Greene should consider themselves lucky that Gibson County upset Middleton in the semi's. Otherwise, we would be talking about a 3 peat for Middleton. Depending on the matchups in the quarters, I foresee MIddleton matching up with South Greene and Middleton bringing home their second gold ball in three years. South Greene has great basketball players, Middleton has great athletes and great basketball players! Mark it down and remember you heard it here first!

They may not be slow but they certainly are not fast. IMO they need a penetrating quick guard that can go to the basket, pull up, or kick out for a three. I did not see that against GC and Middleton's defense will not give up that easy basket down low that Dresden kept getting against GC. Dresden is very well coached and disciplined in looking for a good shot but those shots will be few and far between down in Middleton.

You guys are nuts! Middleton will win by 20 plus. Dresden scored a lot of baskets down low last night. Most were uncontested. They will all be contested at Middleton. The threes better be falling in abundance to even be in the game.

This may as well be an elimination game! The loser will have to go down to Middleton and will subsequently get killed while sweating to death. Good luck to both teams.

No doubt about it, they have one of the best coaches in the state. If they do win the gold ball, they will go a second straight season undefeated. One heck of an accomplishment!! We will see......

That was a terribly weak Technical call. Not sure where that came from. I don't believe that the supervisor was there, however, because he was watching his daughter's game a little further to the south. He would have definitely addressed the Tech had he seen it.
