I'm not trying to be a hater or anything but I don't see how CPA could be happy about winning when they have such an advantage I'm sure other double a schools recruit as well but CPA is by far and away the best at it in double a maybe even the state

I don't know anything about Loretto but I do know that VB has beaten three really good teams in a row to get here

VB was 13-15 entering the postseason there are two wins missing from a Christmas tournament. VB is playing their best ball of the season and I think they way they are playing they could beat anybody. I sure wouldn't want to play them right now

Trust me I'm not going take up for how great 7a is because I get tired of hearing about it but the way Pickett county played last night and how good clarkrange is it wouldn't surprise me if it was an all 7a final and I absolutely hate saying that but I think it could happen

I had an argument with a guy on here about 7a I had said it wasn't as good as everyone said this year but I was wrong. I do get tired of hearing about how great 7a is but it is as as good as people say

Bouldin going out due to sickness was definitely the turning point have the lady bobcats all the confidence and momentum they needed it was over from that point

They didn't contain Bouldin she had 25 and 29 on the two games against Jackson they just contained everybody else. Pickett will be a tough out that's for sure vb will have to play better than they did in the region. But you better believe the loudest gym tonight will be on the mountain so in sure they will be fired up

It's a shame that the first thing people do is criticize the voters and the process instead of congratulating the players nominated. I for one would like to congratulate all players nominated very exciting time for them.

I don't know why she didn't win it I just know she didn't. I never blasted you for nominating her as I think she is a very good player I was simply stating that I am tired of hearing how great 7a is and that's how this whole debacle got started. We both probably got a little carried away but at the end of the day Allen and Bouldin are both superb players I just resented the fact that 7a gets talked about like it's a district for royality when this season it's not that good that was my main point

It's all about the way things are perceived. The voters can't put in someone that is only averaging 14 points and didn't win her districts MVP, fans would riot because whoever from wherever is averaging more points and was her districts MVP. They can't say "well she plays in a tough district and has some pretty good players on her team thats why her stats are a little lower but she is a pretty good defensive player." None of that would matter because fans would not perceive her to be worthy of a miss basketball nod.

7a only has 4 teams other than Jackson so that's 8 district games if Allen is such a great player how then is she only averaging 14 points you can have the best district in the world but it's still only 8 games you act like Jackson is playing clarkrange every night when that is not the case 8 games isn't even 1/3 of the schedule

First I did not say 3 teams from 7a could be VB by double digits I said Jackson did, Clarkrange probably could but VB would beat Pickett in my opinion. Second and this is where it gets confusing I do agree that 7a is a good district my point is that this season 7a is not as good as everyone is making it out to be.

I don't have a better one in mind and 7a is usually historically very good but this year they are not as great as years past. Im willing to bet all those players you mentioned were from the three teams i mentioned earlier. I'm also willing to bet that i cannot be the only one tired of hearing how great 7a is. I'm strictly talking about this season jackson and clarkrange are very good like i said but other than that its like any other district. You said earlier that Bouldins team struggles outside of district play well they beat clay and montery by 20 both times they played them. if I'm not mistaken clay and monterey are in your much heralded 7a. And just because i know your going to bring it up i know VB lost to jackson by 20 and 14 when they played but like i said after jackson and clarkrange just like any other district this season.

What is it with people acting like 7a is just this juggernaut district this season? I get it clarkrange and Jackson are really good and Pickett is okay but people act like if you play in 7a your royality there are a lot of districts that have three teams that are good so is if like a history thing because this season 7a is not as great as people say

No they haven't been to state but Bouldin has led them to substate twice with a less talented supporting cast and gave Jackson all they could handle last year in the substate. And Allen hasn't led Jackson to a state appearance without Coe so we will just have to see how it happens

I don't want to misspeak here but I'm pretty sure tech wants her bad Belmont came to watch her the other night and also utc of course. I'm sure there are more that I don't know about I heard mtsu but I cannot confirm that for sure. It would really baffle me if she isn't a finalist

I'm not disagreeing with the districts one but it's pretty much fact 7a is the best not disbuting it. However Bouldin is shooting 62 percent from the field so it's not like she is chucking up bricks the whole game. Also the non district schedule they play is nothing like the district schedule so that is almost a mute point

So your going to penalize Bouldin for being in a weak district? She cannot control that. It doesn't matter who her team plays she shines. I'm not going to disagree, Allen is in a much tougher district but saying just because Bouldin's district is weak she's not as good a player is ridiculous.

For single a the third spot is up in the air but you'd have to think Heckert and Bouldin are two locks. I mean if either are not finalists then I think the voting staff dropped the ball so to speak

Those are great stats and to think Miss Bouldin has only played the 4th quarter in a handful of games because Van Buren has had such a big lead. So once you take that into account her stats are even more impressive.
