  1. well i am a coalfield fan as i played linebacker and running back for the past four years there but the game against wartburg was embarassing at best. im goin with onieda in this one by27....i just hope we can score a touchdown this week. doubtful though because onieda always has a tough d.
  2. jw but where tha heck is all the coalfield supporters lol i am lookin for a close game this friday as coach henry is a good coach and he will def have them better prepared...we just simply were big headed and overlooked them last season. granted they prob still would have won but the score woulda been respectable.
  3. yeah i never really did until this past season but now that the coaching situation has settled down they should perform better than last seaon but in all honesty a win vs york is an unlikely outcome...in scrimmages coalfield is driving great down the field but needs to learn how to finish
  4. well i played in that ugly game last year lol and i obviously have a biased opinion but coalfield has a good tandem of tailbacks with shawn and ryan armes it will be a better game than last year as they have a huge senior class with a year of playing experience..... that being said....coalfield...45-42
  5. hey just wonderin wat everyones opinion is on this fridays game? i dont know much about york but i know coalfield has homefield and a bad taste in their mouths... PREDICTIONS ANYONE???
  6. thanks pujo we are just trying to right the ship and get evrything moving in the right direction. good luck to hampton this week and i hope we get to compete with them in the playoffs for the third year in a row, but we have to put up some W's before we start thinking about that.
  7. total points---83 avg. of 16.6 per game /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> JK----61 touches, 247yards, 1 td, barely a 4 yard avg. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> SA----about 45 touches, about 400 yds. and several tds. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> adam has only threw one pick all year and noah catches about anything you throw at him /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />
  8. hey evil slayer, i just wanted to let you know that coach kries seems like a man possessed in practice. he was at school on monday and we ran our tails off at practice on the game field running the ladder. today at practice we broke into groups and as soon as we were done we went over to coach kries to run offense.how long has it been since youve seen coach k running the offense entirely by himself? it was extremely uptempo and exciting and then we did about an hour of oklahoma and yes i almost broke my nose again. but all in all i must say that this has been the best day we as a "TEAM" have had all year, and the first day in four years that i have ever seen coach with this much fire and enthusiasm! maybe this team needed a couple of L's to put everything in perspective! i'll see you after the game evilslayer and maybe we can go rolling some time! /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
  9. I just wanted to get on here and say that im sorry for the earlier comment bout "haney and melton......so untrue" that was my mother speaking. also replying to the matter that fearbong had earlier addressed about JK running the ball to much, i am "JK", or JK being in the wrong position i would like to apologize for all those things and say that i have no problem with our offensive co. but i dont call the plays i just execute them to the best of my abilities. i also agree with the fact that shawn armes should be the starting tailback, as he is the one with the big play ability and is also a better natural runner than me. I would also like to add that being @ 239 lbs. i dont see me breaking many 80 yard runs and see myself better contributing to the team at the fullback position and spelling armes and armes at tailback. and as for coach k, showstoppa47, i respect him more than a lot of other people in my life and he might have had more influence than a lot of people but any one that has ever played for coach k knows that he has always hung his head when he gets down by a touchdown because he hates to lose. good luck at the big UT fearbong and i hope to see you and your ladyfriend at the game cheering for us. Go jackets! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. as far as coalfield only having haney and melton from last year...so untrue...so maybe you should get your facts straight
  11. what is the date and time of this scrimmage? i will be there pullin for the dogs!
  12. Actually the Abshire kid runs a 4.39 40yard dash. that sounds pretty fast to me for a big guy. look at clavin johnson he is bout 6'6 and runs a 4.32 40. so i might just have proved all of yall wrong. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  13. i am pretty sure the fastest sprinter in the U.S of A is none other than Cody Abshire of Coalfield he has some nasty speed that no one in the state of tennessee has ever seen before. he is about 6'8 and will out run anybody in the state.
  14. I agree that york is a very hard nosed and physical team and i know this because i scrimmaged against them twice last year and there was two fights in the spring and one in the fall.
