Ken doesn't call offense or defense. In all fairness he has been dealt a bad hand with the assistants he has. He has an OC that's after his job just like he was Bargers and a DC that is in way over his head. I think he may have been a ball boy last year at Marion. The problem with Sequatchie football is the principal. He has a long history of bad hires. Ken is a legend but he is way past his prime and doesn't have the good help like he had at Marion. Also, you can't coach the way his style is with today's athletes. Kids don't respond to being called fat @&$)( and hearing GD every other word. I for one hope the school board steps up and ensures the principal is replaced and a good hire is made this time. My brother played in the early 1990's for a coach that is rumored to be interested in returning. I just think with the outstanding facilities Sequatchie has that they should put together a good staff.

How many winning seasons has Franklin had in past 20 years ?

This one will be over with very early. I don't see Sequatchie winning another game. If you had told me in July Sequatchie would be 3-7 or 4-6 I would have laughed at you.

They are a huge disappointment. Prior to season I would have said 7-3 and play Marion close. Now I say 4-6 and get embarrassed by Signal and Notre Dame.

So do you think Sequatchie played well or Bledsoe is just that bad?

Sequatchie wasn't decent. They lost to CCS and Grundy. They have been a huge disappointment. If you want to play the who beat who game by how much then Marion beat Grundy by 27 and SP beat them by 22. Does that mean it will be a 5 point game?

I am not saying they will or can beat them but they will not be mercy ruled.

Marion wins but much closer than expected. IMO Marion hasn't played a decent team all year. SP will be battle tested by then with a much better schedule.

Marion will not beat SP by 4 or 5 TD. Especially if CF is healthy.

Why doesn't Franklin win more?

If Indians could somehow pull out win Friday, it could put a touch of positive on a very disappointing season.

Not sure how many noticed but #21 saved three TD last night for Jasper. IMO he is the most valuable player on that team.

I got an excuse for you. There is NO EXCUSE for Sequatchie to be this bad.

No reason to make excuses. Marion is better than Sequatchie. Marion will be hard to beat in 2A. #21 is the real difference maker on that team. On the other side. Sequatchie is a bad football team. Poorly coached and very undisciplined. The days of calling kids names and cussing them like dogs is over. It's really quite embarrassing to have a coach that does that. These kids from Sequatchie have been ready to quit for many weeks. I just hope they dig down deep and finish the season with some pride and dignity. These are good kids who are used to winning. This has to be hard. Congrats Marion.
