Farragut never could stop the run. Bearden came back on them in the second half running the ball. Not sure why teams stop running the ball against them. SH just kept running it. Why stop something when it is working. Was kind of surprised Farragut did as good as they did. Offense pretty good. Thought they would have to score every play and hope the defense got a stop. Beech, West, Oak Ridge, Maryville, and Bearden ran the ball good against them.

West wins this one. After Beech got over the long road trip they looked really good. Still trying to figure out what there coaching staff was thinking on that late drive when they should have score for the win. Changed the whole offense instead on doing what got them down there. Farragut has to get a lot better defense or could be like last season. Yes I know they made it to the 3 round.

Be interesting to know the story after Quayle’s had to do with Gaylor when he was the baseball coach. Then Gaylor step down right before the football season started. Then Quayle’s takes the other job at the end of the year.
