CCHS hasn't played to their potential all year due to all of the injuries. When you lose 8 starters throughout the year it is hard to be consistent. The last time they had their best team on the field was in the scrimmage against Westview. CCHS took that scrimmage 5-2. Westview couldn't move the ball and scored on 2 short fields after turnovers. CCHS can beat NSHS, but they will have to play better ball to do it and all the new guys in the lineup will have to step up. Good luck Eagles!!!

I was trying to figure out Chester Co's playoff scenarios and found this gem of a Z-Plan scenerio. If North Side beats Haywood they would be 5th in quad 4 and would travel first round to Chester but if they were to lose, Haywood would make playoffs sending Chester Co to quad 3 and North Side would bump up to fourth in quad 4 and would host! Win, go 9-1 and travel. Lose, go 8-2 and host! Is this correct?

if McNairy were to beat Chester and Lexinton beats Fayette then there would be a 3 way tie and CCHS would win tiebreaker based on overall wins! If McNairy were to beat Chester and Fayette Ware beats Lexington, then McNairy would be District Champs! What are the odds?

Congratulations to the Chester Co Eagles for winning their first district championship in school History by defeating the Lexington Tigers!!! The win also allows Chester Co to host a first round playoff game. Chester has never hosted a playoff game. Congrats to Coach Hodum and his staff. The defense played great again and the play call for the TD, to secure the win in the second half, was as gutsy a call as you will see! Great play and Great win!

Yea Chester Co is pretty banged up too! I believe they have had 2 ACL tears, an MCL tear and 2 broken legs.

If Chester can win Friday they will finish 9-1. If they don't win Friday, I still believe they will beat USJ and McNairy to finish 2nd and 8-2.

It's a different game if Adamsvilles #17 is thrown out of the game, for throwing a punch on CC's first offensive play, like the kid from CC was later in the game.

to me it looked like CCHS got pretty conservative once they had the lead! I'm not sure if they felt that SGHS couldn't score on their defense or what, but playcalling was very different in the second half for CCHS!
