Key this week is NO TURNOVERS!!!! Also, offense has to try to get points in some kind of way every possession. I think the defense will play well for the 3rd week in a row. We also have to take advantage of missed opportunities by CPA. Should be a very close game.

Great win for GC. Even tho it wasn't the prettiest of games, this team will get better as the season progresses. Defense played very well throughout.

Doesn't matter about winning or losing scrimmages dixieboy, it starts meaning something this Friday. There's just no way to get excited for a scrimmage as a player, but the Bobcats will be excited to get a win Friday!!

PC is LOADED with speed. They have the potential to be very dangerous come playoff time. As long as Vaughn is healthy and leads the team, PC could be in Cookeville the 1st Saturday in December, but they also must stay disciplined as well (flashback to last year against Giles County).

I think Blake Gentry may end up at the other corner. Can't think of anyone else. Also since we lost a talented portion of our D-line (starters mainly), it is a MUST our secondary play the pass VERY, VERY well and LBs for that matter must play the pass well!

Alcoa is a tough program year in and year out. No doubt a team like Alcoa could win in every class.

GC's front 7 is the only thing I'm really concerned about this year, but I know Coach Smith and his staff will have the boys ready come Aug. 22. Ready to get the season underway on a quest for a gold ball!!
