  1. Should be an even game, after looking at the stats of the MJ game against Lebanon, a lot of things were confirmed to me… Lebanon outplayed us 1st half, MJ outplayed them second half. However MJ out gained Lebanon by 150 yards, MJ also held Lebanon to under 49 rushing yards for the entirety of the game. Lebanon did pass on us with fairly well. IMO Lebanon has come into their own as the season has progressed. They have several guys capable of scoring, and several sure tacklers on defense. I don’t know much about Hville other than they’ve not been that impressive, minus their game against Gallatin. The Siegel win doesn’t look that good anymore. I have noticed Hville has played some really solid defense as of late. I think Hville has just run into a similar problem that MJ has, both have really good QBs with not so many good options to throw the ball too…. Making Hville’s offense a bit stagnant at times. Currently I’ll take Lebanon 31 Hville 21
  2. Oakland has only progressed, Ravenwood has been consistent, but no where near the level of Oakland. Oakland 42 Ravenwood 14
  3. MJ is coming out with tshirts saying “down with the hill” for the game… it’s not just me.. GO BEARS
  4. I’ll answer my own question as I’ve found the season stats. Brinkley 158 rushes for 1067 yards, 5 other guys have combined for less than 60 rushes for under 150 yards. That’s a lot of shouldering for Stroup.
  5. Question is how did the offense look without him? As far as I know Gallatin has relied heavily on him and very few other Rb’s have toted the ball this season, not a good sign if he was to be out for an extended time. Turning one dimensional isn’t the greatest thing but then again having a strong pass offense it may not matter.
  6. Coming from a team that exposed y’all, and watching quite a bit of film on GH. I’ll give the early nod to Cookeville. GH offense scores in spurts and then goes silent for large chunks of games… hence the Warren Co. game where they scored all their points in the 2nd quarter. Cookeville just seems to be the hotter team right now.
  7. Thanks, it was a heck of a game. How’s Milan looking?
  8. Ouch, not complaining but ouch. Lol
  9. Well some things I’ll go into detail the following days… for now I’ll relish. Yes this team has a fight that wasn’t there prior years. This team completed a 21 point comeback within 18 mins left to play. That’s fight. I’ll also notate that lebanon equally imploded the 2nd half to “help” us as we did them in the 1st half. Lebanon had the ball inside our 5 up 28-7… could’ve been 35-7. All in all I’m happy for my team, and for now ill relish in the positives… something I should do more often lol
  10. It’s uncharacteristic yes. Also needs to be said strength of schedule has something to do with that, along with a youthful team. Beech has a shot at the title imo.
  11. Nothing is out of the question What else is new lol Crabtree one of the best in the biz
  12. Also beech looked scary good tonight against a Solid opponent.
  13. I hope, I know our strength of schedule isnt great, but we needed a game like this. I like this team.
  14. It was great game! I’ll refrain from any critical comments towards MJ for the time being as they enjoy their win. Also let’s not forget GREEN HILL LOST TO LAVERGNE AND MJ WINS!!!!!
  15. Shoutout to travers, I was critical of him earlier but the kid has heart and never out his head down. He has grit!
  16. This is true, the first half was dominated by Lebanon. No doubt about that, I’d like to think it was a “freak” half though.
  17. Thank you, no “style points” here, but the kids fought their butts off tonight. Congrats to lebanon on a really good performance as well!
  18. Somewhat to do with MJ maybe??? let’s not forget the 14 points spotted to lebanon here.
  19. What a game!!!! A bit closer than I expected but can’t complain about a game like that!!!
