This is just my personal thoughts- #1 Waker is correct, monetarily moving to 2A makes the best sense. We played 2A for years when we could have been playing 1A. Personally I would rather play a meaningful, competitive schedule most Friday nights and go 5-5 than what we have done the last 3-4 years.

Exactly. I would also like to point out that most of the hype was coming from East Tennessee last season. Not from Huntingdon, but yeah we got some load mouths just like every team.

The last time I saw this many Mustangs fighting each other was about 2009 in a playoff game against Union City! Play nice ya’ll!

And I think that’s a great plan! All these kids are playing together and don’t care who gets the stats. It’s refreshing to see. I do hope to see Mr. Willis on offense more.

#1. I didn’t see Scott’s Hill back then but your Stadium, softball and baseball fields are excellent. I think the whole point with the comment on the goalpost is when you get right down to it...It’s not regulation. Some people are gonna say “It’s the same for both teams” which is true. Another group is gonna say if it’s not regulation why not fix it? Bottom line y’all have a great team...but some Huntingdon folks don’t really believe we lost that game because the refs missed that extra point call. All I know is it looked right down the middle to me. With that said we shouldn’t have let it come down to an extra point. I kinda get monkey butt myself when we go to a softball field that’s got a 175’ fence in right field. It ain’t regulation. Peace.

Lol. I took my meds today! Idk if you watched the replay last night or not but for much of the game Milan’s D held up. They ran maybe 3 or 4 times the 50 but most of the night were in a 4-3. I saw them try to play a 3-4 maybe 3-4 times as well. Man it’s easy to say Huntingdon’s gonna run we gotta Jam the box but the thing is that will work some but when they hit a seam there ain’t nobody back there to tackle them. I’ve heard a lot of good on Pettigrew, some bad but those guys were playing hard for him. If a coach can gets kids to do that these days then I respect them as a coach!

When I got in the stadium my first impression was how athletic the MILAN team looked. My second was how lacksidasical they looked warming up. But I was wrong, they didn’t play that way at all. They never quit and they played hard the whole game. I think they are a pretty good team still trying to find their identity. If I was the coach I would run that RPO package with that personnel the rest of the year. They were hard to deal with in that set. I thought they were decent on D as well.

Nah we haven’t gained that many students. Wishful thinking I guess.

Agree it would be cool. Rooting for y’all this season to win it all and keep pitching shutouts before (hopefully) my Mustangs join y’all next year.

Will Henry County run the table? I think so Can Southside finish 10-0? Pretty sure How about Dyersburg? Yup What’s happened to Haywood? They were my preseason #1 in the West Does anyone have a tougher schedule to close the regular season than Crockett County? Haywood, Covington, Dyersburg. That’s stout. How about Covington? Undefeated regular season I would say How about Milan? They got the athletes. Other than a game with Lexington I don’t see them losing again. I actually think Lex is all they got left that can compete with them. They gonna run the table, get hot in playoffs and meet Covington again in 3rd round where they will again get donkey stomped. Whats happened to Union City? They will Probably still finish up in the 3rd round meeting Trenton where they will again get donkey stomped. Can anybody on Trenton’s remaining schedule even score on them? I don’t think so Can anyone left on Huntingdon’s schedule hold them under 60 points? Nah Whats are your thoughts??!

Honestly it should be 7-2 at the half. If Willis done what he was coached to do he would have kicked that fumbled snap through the end zone. Lol. We needed a good test. I feel like we will play a better 2nd half.

The South Gibson school system is considered to be the cream of the crop for academics, etc. They aren’t great this year but they have been pretty good years past.

They told me they are running so much before halftime that they are worn out in 2nd half. Just rumblings from a fan. Idk.
