Had to spend most of my day in Milan. Here are some observations. It’s coming a shower. Channel 11 has their production trailer set up right where the kids usually play football. They gonna be mad. The road shoulders aren’t covered in cotton as is usually the case when we travel to Milan. According to reliable sources the Bullpups have scrapped their Butch Jones offense for a straight I. They also scrapped the 3-4 defense and have gone back to a 50. Im predicting a close game in first half and then the Stangs open it up in the 2nd. 35-14. Calling for rain so that could dampen the scoring as well.

Negative- they did not beat us that year. They lost to the team that lost to West Carroll.

Nothing beat putting them out of the playoffs 3 years in a row!

Hunter Ensley will continue to put up unreal numbers for the Mustangs. For all his physical attributes, his vision on the field is the best I have seen since Joe Longmire over at Bruceton.

Yes actually I would agree with that assessment. I think we need to be a little more multi dimensional on offense and defense. What we are doing is working, I just think we need to be prepared if it ever doesn’t work. I just wanna know we are prepared for the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offenses. I think with the speed of our linebackers and safety’s I might just slide on of those middle linebackers to nose in some situations. But that’s just me. I don’t make the big money!

We ain’t gonna see another quarterback like Stanfield this year. We need to work on sliding one of those linebackers down into a stance and try to work on stopping the teams trying to grind on us. Camden, and Mcewen both got us grinding. Grind grind grind. Safety’s keep creeping up and then bang throw it over our heads. That sound like Cornersville to anyone?

I remember in 1994 one of your boys getting tackled at los, our guys getting off him and then him getting pushed into the end zone for the 2 pt conversion. I also remember Viktor Kidd starting and stopping 8 times before the play started in 1998. Y’all should be ashamed to count those two BPM.
