You may be right that's why they play the games and I know and respect Coach Hatfield he has earned it over the years! Every year he gets every ounce out of the talent he's dealt! IMO they were a mirror reflection of LaVergne! Lots of talent and speed but their coaches were just a bit better! That's why they are beatable. Their DB's aren't very good! Everyone who could throw the ball at all have gave them fits! They're very susceptible to the screen b/c they're Dline is very aggressive. Play action pass is their Achilles heel! Stop their run and make them throw the ball. If you do this and your defense is good I like your chances! By the way I agree with u I think he's a better reciever it's just he needs someone to take him under his wing and teach him the positions ins and outs!

You apparently didn't devo the Hillsboro/LaVergne game last night! The wolverines were tied 7-7 with 5:38 on the clock in the 3rd. It should've been 14-7 the wolverines had the ball 1st down on the one yard line and couldn't put it in something our great coaches haven't solved all season! If u catch my meaning! What I'm saying is we threw the ball pretty good last night and we are not even close to Indy's caliber of passing game! Last night the Burros were the better team and our kids did their best with what they had! Good luck the rest of the way!

Did I miss something or does your name not mean you're not a region 2 fan? We get it until we beat Maryville their still #1! But region 2 historically has been the toughest league for many years! True statement! I'm sure most of the state will back us up on this!

I said it earlier in this thread Independence will beat every region 6 team by at least 14 points probably double that! And they crushed what u guys called a good Cane Ridge team by half time! I never said LaVergne was a very good team I said a very talented and fast team with speed to burn. My point was Independence was a very good team with a ton of talent and great coaches! I would love to see the wolverines with their Coaching staff it would be freaking scary!

Independence is probably the best all round team in 5a! I think last Friday they played their best game of the season so far! They completely dismantled a very athletic LaVergne team! Indy's Coaching staff is very good they have a very good offense, defense, and special teams with special skill players all through the lineup! Here's my prediction the Eagles beat all the region 6 teams by at least 14 points probably twice that! It's their season! Good luck Eagles show em all!

I've watched a lot of film on Hillsboro and it looks to me that they look a lot like LaVergne both teams have great talent and speed at the skill positions but in the trenches they both aren't great. This game could go either way. I think which ever teams coaches come out with the more aggressive O and D and limits the TO's have a great chance to win this game. We'll have to see b/c i don't think either teams coaches are very good! The talent has carried both teams for the past years. It's going to be a wet one so a slick football and field things could get CRAZY!
