You call someone out for saying something then do the same thing. You make your judgement on all these teams, but when someone makes judgement on THE ALMIGHTY FORREST then you cant handle it. So, my point was made clearly in your last post. My content is about as weak as your false sense of how good your team is. There are way too many parameters that go into a game to say how good a team is or isn't, especially in week 3 of a season. So, back to the thread (which has nothing to do with Forrest mind you)!

Of course it matters! That is the merit behind every post you make is what YOU think young lady. So don't say it doesn't matter what you think, the game has to be played or any other cliché you can google......you have let everyone know it matters what you think girlfriend.

Well, Ive tried but cant ignore Ameri-girl any longer. The thing that makes the victories the sweetest is when you are overconfident. There have been some valid points made, some excuses given, and some predictions off of a score. Forrest has a good football team. If they play Westy 9 more time, they win 5-6 of them. But they would win none by the margin of week 3. Why? Well, look how many seniors starters Forrest had. Westmoreland had a lot of shoes to fill from last years class, figure out what they can and cant do, and go from there. Unfortunately, they played Forrest in week 3 and those were some factors, but not the only ones. Ameri-girl has all the answers about why Forrest is the best team in the state and why everyone else stinks. You other posters should recognize that you will never have a logical conversation with someone like her and get anywhere. She doesn't even read what she has written and continually contradicts herself. As far as Westy/Watertown, they are tied for second for a reason, and the motivation is there to win, should be a great game!

How is spring going? Any new faces on the field to fill the shoes of last years Sr class?

Im sure he will get all the "assistance" he needs from Coach S! Did any of the assistants leave with Creasy?

Somebody has to know. I am sure that there may not be an announcement until the end of their spring break or perhaps on the day the kids return to school. But if interview were complete on Thursday, April 2nd....Im sure the "committee" would have discussed the 5 on Thursday and/or Friday. Then sleep on it for the weekend. If an offer was made yesterday, it will get out pretty quick I would think. Is there anyone in TC that can fill us in????????

I read where apps are due today. Does anyone know if interviews start next week? Does anyone know if there are even going to be interviews? Someone closer to the area give us your take on what the "hiring process" will be.

Tend to agree with Tiger: It just sucks sometimes to see that a post has been made on the Thread, you open with anticipation of reading something worthy of the content, only to read nonsense. I don't have issues with nonsense as much as I have trouble with it being on a thread where it doesn't belong. Hey, here's and idea.....since you can start a thread anywhere. You folks that are enjoying the masquerade party, role playing, wannabe jargon...start a thread and talk to each other, turn each other on with you accents, comments, slang, etc. Im sure you would get a lot more out of it. Then those wanting to have pretend time with you can join right in!

I think in TN that jobs have to be posted for applications for a minimum number of days. Usually with a hush situation like this seems to be, the hiring committee aforementioned probably knows who the candidates are. "They" just have to wait until the posting closes to begin interviews. Bottom line, Im sure the "committee" already has made the contacts for those they want to talk to. The rest of the resumes sent in are aiding in the recycling project in TC. There are some interesting names surfacing, but they are speculations or wishes, either from those wanting them or those wanting the job.

Did Coach Creasy leave for Oakland already or does he have to stay at TC and finish out the school year?

Make NO mistake: The call will be Coach Satterfield's and no one else's! Make NO mistake: He is qualified to hire the next football coach for Trousdale County! Question is as said before, what's he looking for? There are some rumors flying around.... It'll be interesting to watch....

Here are the things to ponder imo: There are names hitting the screen that are near their end, but definitely be top candidates. Does Satterfield hire an older guy that can do the job, but may only be around a few years, go for the mid range guy that can come it and do the job and be there for several years providing stability, or the younger guy that he could groom himself? Thoughts?

Hey Postman (or anyone that knows): I noticed on the TSSAA Job board that the middle school needed an assistant, but no teaching slot available. The thing that caught me off guard was that the post was by Jamie Akins???? I thought he was coaching at the varsity level? I mean, I know his son is graduating, so are there changes going on with the staff? What about Coach White? He was the middle school coach, right? But I always saw him on Fridays with the varsity as well. Any other changes going on?

Even thought there were several seniors, many juniors (and few soph) got some quality play this year. I hope they get that playoff taste in there mouth and go to work! Every year provides a new type team, and this year is def going to be that. Postman, do you know who spring scrimmage, fall scrimmage is?
