  1. This is becoming hilarious. You read all of your posts and cant find anything. OF COURSE YOU CANT! You are reading your own post...duh! I bet if Posty read his own post, he wouldn't find anything offensive either! Hence, you see it your way and we see what you say/mean. We say it our way and you critique it your way. It is a no win situation for either....it is what it is...you are who you are, and we are who we are AND PROUD OF IT!
  2. sportsnerd Go back and read your posts. You may not "spread hate" but you definitely "dont respect" as you put it others. Either you abide by the golden rule or you don't! That is called a hypocrite....which is what you are. You look down your nose at others just as posty says your players and coaches do. He is correct is saying this because all of your post shows your personality. Whether we agree with posty or not, you know exactly where he stands....and we take pride in raising our kids that way. Unfortunately, your kids are raised to look down on ours. We accept that, doesn't mean we gotta like it.
  3. When will the boards be rearranged to reflect next years classification?
  4. Big Dave, that is the funniest thing I have read in a long time! Man, you are such a comic. Thank you for bringing so much laughter to the boards.

  6. Game day....last minute predictions, comments, etc. Im taking Westmoreland, dominating the running attack, throwing in timely fashion, mix in a couple of big plays in the kicking game.......Not a runaway, but a controlled game by the Eagles!
  7. Hey man.....opinions are what this forum is all about! No problems here...Its all good!
  8. I agree with your assessment Swarm. Problem is...Westmoreland cant fairly judge your level of competition with Waverly, Lewis, and Camden just like you guys probably don't know how good Heritage, Greenbrier, and White House are this year. Only common opponent is Cheatham, and we all know how a team can be completely different from Week 1 to Week 10. I think both teams have earned their respect, and the good ole "Who wants it most" should be reserved for rivalries...heck, if you don't want it at this level, get on to the hardwood. It will come down to execution and perhaps some coaching.....in my opinion. Glad its at the ROCKPILE!!!!!!!
  9. Unfortunately, 2014 Eagles cant play the 2012 Cheathams! May be an alumni game some day can put your opinion at rest.
  10. Terror, is from the French terreur, from Latin terror meaning "great fear", a noun derived from the Latin verb terrere meaning "to frighten" I dont' think I would call Cheathams 2012 backfield nor Westmorelands a "terror". Both are good, but I have seen more well rounded backfields that can equally block and receive as well as run...just my opinion.
  11. What was the Fairview Cheatham score. Steamroller......Why do you say Cheatham was better then?
  12. Not to disagree with the idea Mr. Postman1, but do you really think a team is going to allow a 1 on 1 situation with the Evans kid?
  13. WHS offense is capable of big points, but it seems most of the BIG plays this year have come from the running game. That being said, the clock runs, shortens the games, and doesn't set up for a BIG scoring game. Im sure the coaches are happy with the wins and being able to run the ball whenever they want. I don't disagree about the passing game, it needs to be sharpened up bc to make a deep run in playoffs, there is going to come a point where you need it. So, here is the question? You would think with WHS stats, that a team would say "We are going to stop the run and force you to beat us throwing the ball" Do you think WHS can do that if needed? Thoughts?
  14. Our pass D has been pretty good lately...mostly due to pressuring the QB's we face. It does appear that our secondary is improving every game as well. If we can improve in those areas and force Harpeth to go to something else, we should be able to get control of the game early. I haven't seen Harpeth, but have seen some stats, so we have to get ready to play. Home again should be a major factor!
  15. It won't matter though will it (Greenbrier beating Heritage)? That would kick it into a 3 way, and pending a WHS over WHHS, Greenbrier has 2 losses and Heritage beat WHS still giving them the first place slot. Now, for third, you would have WHHS tied with Greenbrier record wise, and WHHS gets that one head to head....am I right about this? Don't get me wrong, I know there are a lot of games still to play and a lot could still happen, I was just saying the Greenbrier over Heritage won't change a lot....and I personally don't think Greenbrier will beat Heritage. Heritage has to lose two for the WHS vs WHHS match up to be significant from a "winning the district" standpoint. Otherwise, they are simply playing for second, or possibly third with the two remaining games left.
  16. I see what you are saying roller. I don't disagree. Hopefully both the running and passing game will be at its best, and it should be with everyone healthy and being in week 7 of the season. Then it won't matter what is called.
  17. OK....there is some merit to what you are saying...but why would a team that can run the ball with the fullback running game they have, pass on first down? I mean, you have a 2 out of 3 chance of finding yourself in 2nd and 10 plus, but by running on first down, from what I have seen this year, you are in a 2nd and 3-6 yd situation. That seems to be the passing down that I would mix it up. But why put yourself in 2nd and long, and now, as you say, everyone knows you have to throw? Thoughts?
  18. Would like to hear your opinion on this one Hater28.....what do you mean it will come down to coaching? That is pretty vague. Both staffs are veterans and have many games under their belts, as well as knowing each other inside and out. I think it could be the staff willing to take calculated risks as both teams, thus far, are very predictable. If you are talking about the penalties vs Greenbrier, you must not have been there....those penalties were not all earned....must have been WH refs getting warmed up for this week!
  19. Injuries have been on both sides of the ball all year. This is a big game for both squads. Injuries just means some one has to step up. If Westmoreland will utilize all of their players, they may see more success. Greenbrier should do the same. I have seen both teams and if they do what they have been trying to do, then the game may only last an hour. With four weeks left in regular season, it may come down to which team wants it more. Westmoreland had the extra week and seem to always prepare well with the break. It looks like rain in the forecast, so that could go against Westmoreland normally, but the passing game has been sub par, so probably not a big factor. This will be a close, low scoring game. Could come down to a play or two in the kicking game and who makes least mistakes on offense/defense.
  20. Did they get together at a town hall meeting in the late 90's and say "Hey, why don't we all get together and have a football team?"
  21. I hope they are saving up because I would like to see what this team can do if they "play to their potential" or "play mistake free" or "play with everyone healthy". That isn't sarcastic...I think they can be pretty solid and hard to beat if these things come together...not sure they become DOMINANT team, but solid hard to beat team. They need a big win this week to spring board them into open week feeling good before the last four games come up.
