Perhaps older Vikings fans can help me out but where does this rank among some of the worst halves in THS history? Goodness Crockett came prepared and wrote a 5-page essay on how to beat us apparently. Hoping we see a miracle and knowing the team it's possible so we'll see how it pans out in the 2nd half.

Crockett is a team that will play you hard for quite some time so you really can't take your foot off the pedal against the Pioneers. That said, if they had the talent to match their drive they could really be something but that doesn't ever seem to be the case. I for sure won't be surprised if it is close up until midway through the 3rd when the depth of THS puts us over the line and we start clicking on offense and just score crazily (kinda like with South earlier this year).

This game will be a get right game for THS in my opinion. Sir Shuff should be back to full form and I expect the Vikings to get the W easily after Crockett gives us a good fight for a half or so. Think we have too many weapons for DC to handle and the defense has been solid except for a few lapses against Sevier. THS 34 DC 14

Vikings travel out to Crockett after a disapointing game vs Sevier and look to get back on the right track. Pioneers are coming off a win over Morristown East and look to upset the Vikings at home.

Awful news. Prayers to him and his family. I can never imagine the pain they are going through.

I think some people in the program think this is OK and are just dealing with it. That's an awful mindset for a team I have seen be a threat to even the biggest teams in Tennessee and have now fallen to being a mediocre middle of the pack team the past 5-6 years.

I knew we would be in major trouble when a player on THS (No names here) told me that the coaches would only let us throw 6-7 passes in the game. That's ridiculous and dumb to think that would work against any halfway decent team that knows how to adjust.

Final SC 35 THS 14 Bears too fast and too good for THS. Extremely disappointed with the passive play calling and unwillingness to put 16 in as the starter.

The way THS wins is by controlling Time of Possession. The logic that they can't score if they don't have the ball has to be used. Going to have to be low scoring if there is any hope of winning here but I don't see it happening SC 35 THS 21

FINAL: THS 48 Cocke Co 14 Vikings take this one in the rain easily. Good to see some guys that don't get a ton of action score as well.

So I have seen and heard. Might be a good time to test out some things before Sevier and our matchup later this season.

Oh god i'm getting flashbacks again...

Vikings coming off a bye and a heartbreaking loss to Betsy the week before. Homecoming night as well for THS. Cocke Co. will look to catch THS off guard perhaps with Shuff still not 100%.

From what I have seen from both teams since we played both is that i have to give the edge to Mo East. They aren't all that bad but just can't put it together. I say Caness by 14 over Boone but knowing the Blazers it is never easy and East got really tired as the game dragged on when we played them.

Also shout-out to the Vikings fans tonight. Always fun playing an away game at home. Betsy fans are a real loud bunch. Nice ones too. Always fun when playing the Cyclones.

Final Cyclones 21 Vikings 20 A heartbreaking game. To lose on a fumble TD and a failed 2-pt conv. I could moan about losing our starting RB and LB and the backup Marden getting injured but the scoreboard is final. Just feels unfair but that's life. GG Betsy

Vikings look to snap a 2-game losing streak to Betsy and sharpen up after a disapointing game vs Boone. Cyclones come in only losing a tight one to Science Hill.

Final: THS 13 Boone 6 If you can find a worse THS performance team wise I'd be shocked. Played so soft and FGs plus a kickoff TD saved our tails. Not good enough. Sir was neutralized, Rosenboro was silent, WR was awful. Defense really saved our tail.

Vikings come in winning 3 straight while Blazers come in losing 3 straight.
