I like an upset and I like upsets even more when it's the Pirates providing it. I also have serious doubts about Whitwell over Byrns.

I don't have any opportunities to head out and see MASE play during the regular season. I want to say that first. I have seen highlights against Westwood and these are my quicklist observations. The team has decent size and speed. I am very impressed with the OL as well as #9 and #12. Westwood looked like flaming garbage, so it's hard to accurately judge. Unless I can get my hands on some more film, I like where I have them which is in a 2nd Round exit to Lake County.

We can be miserable together for the time being. We're going through a similar situation in the Basin. Inmates are running the prison and we're just along for the ride. Has gameday atmosphere suffered? I know Cooper Field has been electric when I've visited in the past.

You're right. This extends way beyond football. People need to go. It's time. I'm tired of seeing people enrich themselves with public funds and give preferential treatment to family and friends. Massey gives Alcoa a 72% chance to beat Reidsville with a projected score of 40-20. 67% chance to beat Shelby with a projected score of 41-27. Keep in mind this is for THIS year accounting for the fact that Rankin jumped ship. You live in fantasy land. In my qualified opinion, NC has more quality teams, but the best teams in TN would curbstomp the best teams in NC and it’s not even close. You give me Lipscomb Academy against Charlotte Providence Day or East Forsyth and I’ll show you a mercy rule and a long bus ride home.

Long time no see, guys. I figured I had to make an appearance for this one. Let's all stop playing a game here. NC only has 4 classes, TN has 6. It's apples and oranges to compare the two. NC 1A, by enrollment, covers 1A-3A in TN. Cherokee High School claims right at 580, Alcoa High School claims 680. TN 1A cut-off currently is 374 students. There is no school in 1A in NC that even deserves to share the same field as the Tornadoes. Talent-wise, NC 1A would struggle with many of our 1A programs (Peabody, Mckenzie, South Pittsburg, etc..). God forbid they ever had to run with schools of comparable size.

If we have even the slightest bit of sense, we will control the clock in this one. Best case scenario, we force a low scoring ball game, play good defense, and bank that our offense will get home more than Clay's. I like @TheCommander prediction. Basin is struggling with XP with the kicker out so I look for this one to be decided by 2pt %. If Basin is at least 50% on 2pt, I think the Cougs take the cake and go see Croz.
