  1. Obion County has a great man coming on board. Paul Decker is a class act. He inspires the players and supports them on, and off, the field. He has been an asset to DHS, wearing multiple hats. We will miss him deeply, but wish the best for Coach Decker and his family! Congrats to Paul and Obion County!
  2. Great showing Bears! Coach White has this team headed in the right direction. You showed a good Fulton team that the talent exists statewide.
  3. Good luck Bears! Great season Cav's! Bring it home for the West.
  4. Great game to both teams. Excellent sportsmanship by both, with a little, expected, chippey-ness (hey, it's football!) by both sides. Good luck against Crockett.
  5. Coffee/hot chocolate will be $$$ at the concession stand. Just sayin'!
  6. In my opinion, we are one of the best traveling fan bases. Most of us drive, but the school got a charter bus as well: $10 round trip to cover fuel. Gonna be a cold one Sherriff. Hope you have the same announcer in the booth! A.K.A. Barry White.
  7. Trust: we are bringing it Friday night. Again, this is a different team with a different mindset than the previous two. Regardless, this will be a great game. Your Bears re always tough. Dyersburg is tenacious. There is no quit in them. It is on through the horn. Ladis and gentlemen: let's Get ready to ruuuuuummmmmbllllle!
  8. That is some nice HD video Sheriff! I started to post an inappropriate comment about that being played on turf..... But hey, let's let the men play it out on the frozen pasture.
  9. Again: the storm is brewing. Funny thing is Dyersburg and Crockett fans are on the same page. This week will set the stage for our, collective, battle with the East. They think we are a joke. When this plays out, we need to bring the title to the West! Good luck to all, but I have to wish better luck to the Trojans.
  10. Agreed Prez/Senator. This game is going to set the stage. We have a dog fight here.
  11. Crockett hits like Dyersburg: lights out. Get ready NS. Cav's take this one. There's a storm brewing in this quad.
  12. And the year before... Don't count the Black n' Gold out, by any means. This group is a different team than the past two that coasted most contests enjoying 2nd half mercy rule implementation. These kids are scrappy and have no problem playing from behind. I'm sure Coach White has the Bears ready, but just know: this one will be a war through the last second. If Trez' is gassing the bus for the trip to Alamo, they are done. Good luck Bears. We are bringing it this go. If you want to make $$$: have coffee and hot chocolate at the concession stand. Low 30's??? Need a ride Slick?
  13. Cavs in this one. Slick, the coffee hasn't kicked in brother....
  14. I think y'all woke our men up. That game might just prove to be pivotal for both teams' seasons. Nice job vs Westview! I hate that we aren't stat-throwing in the back alley to entertain the faithful here, but good luck to your Dawgs. I think the Trojans will more than make this a game when they roll into North Memphis. Trez' may be hungry after last season, but the 'Burg is now rolling hard with this "dog" chip. There seems to be a new focus. They need to shore up kick coverage and start "old school" leg-tackling. This is going to be a good one. Apparently we will all be playing on the Frozen Tundra, as TN is going to get a big dose of Canada this weekend.
  15. This Trojan team has a different mindset than those of past years. They are hitting on all cylinders as a "team" At the right time. Regardless of the predictions, the Bears are going to have their paws full. This is going to be a brawl to the end. 3 points will be the margin. Good luck men!
  16. Milan is hitting their stride at the right time. Good luck to both, but I'm picking the Dawgs. Go Milan!
  17. This will be the 3rd straight year these teams face each other in the post season. How do they match up?
  18. The D'BURG QB was on point tonight. He was a killer on D as well. Throws weren't pretty, but they were effective. The team played 110%.
  19. Bottom line, both teams displayed great character, despite the officials being sub-par. Sportsmanship was paramount during this game. Both teams helped each other up after plays, etc. Sorry about not being the typical Coach T "chest thumper", but the Liberty players showed a lot of class. They are, obviously, well coached and supported.
  20. Wait, what??? That was a wild one. The officials were terrible from both sides of the field. Dyersburg has a lot to "shore up" before round 2. Liberty is a very fast team. No one expected this to be a shoot-out, but the men on the field showed us why we love football: on any given Friday night.... Great game play by both teams!
  21. And now that the sting has dulled, MHSDB89, your take on the officials, is not only accurate, but cracks me up! Glad to hear we were booing on both sides of the field. Roll on Dawgs. We will meet again.
