This just shows how idiotic this plan is. Imagine this ballgame for next year. Bearden 0-10 travels to Maryville 10-0. When kids play on a winless football team it is a tremendous grind and just grueling on the players parents and fans to endure, then that team is "rewarded" with one more on the road thrashing. Yeah! we get to go get demolished one more time, yeah! It's absurd.

Sorry Gov, you are wrong on this one. Packer and Austin Price came to West High about 5 times begging Cummings and AD Killian to move the game to Thursday night. Coach didn't want to do it, but Packer and Price kept showing up at school and upping the offer until Coach and AD finally agreed to move it. But yes, the team and staff felt good about their opportunity to get the w this year.

It should be a really good game. I will be interested to hear your take on West team after you have seen them play for yourself. It won't resemble anything you saw last week at Anderson County.

okay vul, I do believe TH may have the 2nd best team the Rebels have faced. No doubt they are a good solid football team and the upset is possible, I think it's unlikely. I say the Rebs come out on top.

I think it was the 3 lost fumbles and all the injuries to the defense that cost them the ballgame, not the playcalling.

SS, the recommended regions for next year has us with CC, Farragut, Clinton, Karns and LC. We will have to find 5 nonregion games. That will be tough to do.

Cats, I hear ya. I've seen SD on Hudl two different games, including the win over Cleveland. They do have a very good offense, maybe the most balanced offense we have seen, because they do run the ball well also. That is a scary thing for a team trying to avoid an upset. But there is a reason they are 4-6. I wasn't real impressed with their defense. While they do have some good players over there, their D-line and backers are not very big or physical. Despite losing the game, Cleveland pushed them all over the field pretty easily. We will have to have a good night on special teams and offense, because they are going to score some points. In the end, I think we will hold their offense more times than they hold ours. I think we will get the win in a much better game than many are expecting tonite.

PA, Clinton is our neighbor so you know I have to pull for them.

Clinton will have to load the box and force Cleveland to beat them passing. The strength of Clevelands team is that o-line, they are tough and physical. If Clinton can slow down that running game they will have a shot. Go Clinton

Make no mistake about it, SD has a good offense that really can spread the ball around to 4 different receivers. They don't run it much, but the qb is obviously makes good decisions and gets it to the right guy. However, their defense is not very physical. We should be able to score some points, but we will have to play well on defense or this game could be too close for comfort.
