Coach Moore has resigned, media has it

Peabody has a speed advantage at the skill positions but Marion is not a slow team, we do have "team" speed and has been the fastest team on the field this season against our opponents. Peabody has more speed than us at the skill positions but our line, on both sides, appears to have more quickness than Peabody. Our starting line is not big, but they move very well on both sides of the ball and our D line is quick. I believe this what makes this a great matchup and so hard to see the outcome of this game.

That is exactly why both teams are in this game. The never quit improving all year, always getting better. As Ken Colquette told us one year on a chalk board, he drawed a graph, he said the team that continues the steady climb up, getting better, and never flat lines or regresses, are the teams left standing at the end. So here we are......

more of an outside linebacker. They are very similar to a good S. Pitt team as far as athletes at the skill positions and a few good looking lineman, some big and slow but look strong. The QB is a good looking athlete, kind of reminds me of Tim Starkey. But this team will spread us out.

This team would have never made it past TC without Ross, noway. It is a very good group from seniors to freshman but we are in better shape, stronger and major difference on our defense, scheme and technique wise than years past. It's not even arguable. We would never played for a title with Mac. Good coach but you have to play defense to win the big ones. As for the offense, this offense will only continue to improve the longer these guys play in the system. It's pretty dang good to be installed in the last 16 weeks. I personally believe this offense (scheme) is better than Mac's IMO.

You got a taste of it the last two weeks...top plays last night made by Marion on both sides of the ball were made by players not named Zeman. We have a lot of young ones playing major roles.

Grace may think that but Marion doesn't. I haven't heard a player nor a coach even mention the other side of the state. I was talking to one of the seniors the other night and he didn't realize Trinity had lost. We have a good group that is focused on this game I do believe. I am sure that Grace coach is giving his normal coach speak as well though.

I don't believe Grace wants to get in a track meet. Ross hasn't allowed anyone too score at will and I don't see that happening this week neither. I have know reason to believe a track meet will ever happen. If grace wins its because they shut our offense down.

Marion has done the same thing, brand new system and coaches with a first time QB, the offense is light years beyond what we was the first 6 weeks of the season.

08 had more senior players with a lot less sophomores plying as we are this year. But with that said I believe we are way better in the coaching dept this year. I would take this team at this point.

We do not have gunslinger by know means. I just don't see us giving up much points, we haven't all year. I believe , on film, Trousdale's line was better than Grace and they have the most explosive back in 2a with Harper. They also had a very dynamic QB. We only gave up 21 to them. I do not believe Grace's offense is as good as Trousdale's. Just an opinion of course.

i hope you are correct. I believe we will be successful tomorrow as well. I believe its time to hear some score predictions on this board. From what I have seen on film, Grace has a large size advantage but Marion seems a lot faster across the board, the lineman look much quicker. I believe this game will be very close thru the half then Marion's fast paced offense takes its toll on the big's of Grace and rolls along. Marion County 31 Grace Christian 14

Last practice for Marion this week is in the books. They looked sharp all week. Should be a barn burner Friday night.

I suppose most are with in 10-15 minutes away. Now the 6 am ended when school started they get there now at 7:30. That gives Ross two hours with the football team every morning. The 6:00am was during summer.

What is sweet is they haven't been on it but just this season. The large sophmore class, freshman and the 28 eighth graders coming over starting in January will be the biggest gainers after several seasons of the program

Yes the entire team meets every morning before school and he has all them first block which an hour and a half. He also has the other teams throughout the day for training including female sports.

That's cute lol. I honestly don't know if we have huddled this year. If we have I must have not been looking. We don't even huddle in practice.

yes and lookout valley either.... Solid source is we have scheduled out of Region games; Hixson first game, S. Pitt 4th game and we will play Grundy.

Poor oh Sale Creek and Lookout Valley should never be used when comparing teams. But every team has one of those type teams on their schedule it seems.
