That's because they're used to playing on their field with that huge crown where they're always running down hill. They just forgot they were playing at Peabody and not Johnny Hale.

I don’t want to add insult to injury and quite literally didn’t want our starters to risk injury by continuing to play in the 2nd half...... but imagine how it would’ve been if those key players weren’t pulled for Peabody. This game went nothing like predicted. I never expected the outcome. It could’ve been worse. I do look forward to following the rest of Milan’s season...... but man oh man am I even all the more excited about Peabody’s! I have no doubt Milan’s empire is on the up and up. They will fight this season after the game. I also can’t wait to see the new stadium!!!! It is well needed and well deserved. Good luck the rest of the season, Milan!

Just did some checking and Chad Karnes and the Missing 5th will be playing from 5:30-6:30. They always play a good set.

At what point would we sell out? That has me curious. How interesting would that be for the Fire Marshall to say time out on any more entries to a small town high school football game? That would be a night for the record books. With that said, I will be there ready to rock and roll when the gates open. Are we having a pre-game band like we usually do?

I went ahead and bought mine using the app. The convenience fee is worth it to not have the hassle of dropping by during school hours or standing in those long lines to buy them.

The Milan game in 2017 and the GC game in 2018 saw people standing several people deep. I’ve seen the numbers for those games. I’ll try and find it.

I’m not sure exactly, but it will be standing room only.... and not just shoulder to shoulder. Try not to drink too much water Friday. Lol. It will be hard to get to the restroom through the people.

Well folks.... I'm ready for some football. Definitely get there early or if you're in the area, stop by the high school during business hours to go ahead and buy your ticket. I know the last time Milan played at Peabody, the game had started and there was still a line of folks wrapped around the back side of the home stands. It was past the 50 yard line. No doubt with this being a Thursday game, plenty of area schools will be in attendance in addition to the hoards of Peabody and Milan folks. I've even heard mention that those Trousdale County boys are piling onto a bus to make a special trip to see this game. That would be pretty cool, and I'd surely welcome them! This is going to be a close game. I'll make my prediction about 9pm on Friday. lol

Only an hour and a half drive, which isn’t too bad. I hope both teams show up loud and proud. It makes for a better atmosphere for the boys. Sure, we may get wet, but we will dry too! How long have we been hoping for a Peabody/Waverly game??? I’ll suffer for a small amount of time compared to the amount of time our boys and Waverly’s boys have put into practicing and building up to this moment. They’ve put far more time than I’ve put. So they ought to have more support no matter the forecast! Roll Tide.

I think the Waverly crowd will be impressed with our facilities. It’s all very nice for a small 2A school.

This is going to be an epic battle. Waverly’s offensive blast versus Peabody’s defensive blast. It’s going to be a good one.

This is going to be an intense game. Glad it’s in Trenton this year. I hope to see some packed stands. I’m a little disappointed at the turn out the turnout tonight and last week.
