This game has been nominated for the Titans High School Game of the Week. That may say something about our rivalry we have going here. Peabody and Milan supporters will have to band together to vote that our game wins the Game of the Week!

I had no idea people were sticking up for the individual. I could care less who it was... It was beyond disrespectful. I have the description of who I noticed, but I didn't take the exact number in my mind. i don't guess I was expecting it. I did take notice when I saw the player's number that picked it up. I will always hold him in high regard. Editing to add that I saw the apology made on Facebook. The apology truly sounded genuine. He owned his mistake and said it was all in the heat of the moment. Some would never apologize, so I’m proud he did!

I was there. I wish I made note of which player it was. I'm sure there is video that would say who it was. When they first came through I was proud they included an American flag among the 2 spirit flags. Then I noticed the spirit flags were held much higher than the American flag. About that time I realized that, the player that had the American flag tossed it on the side lines. I about come unglued in my mind. Within a matter of a few seconds, #76 (Walters I believe) picked it up and put it up respectably. I was about ready to take it to Haney, but I wasn't sure if maybe I was the only one that noticed. Regardless, I was proud that 76 grabbed it as soon as he realized it. Overall this wasn't a proud Peabody moment. If we can't respect the flag, then don't run out with it.

No mention of the Spring scrimmage against Peabody? I will say I saw potentional in Camden’s defense but they didn’t hold us scoreless by any means. I think I saw 4 touchdowns with no answers from Camden before I left. It sounds like y’all definitely developed your defense over the summer. There is for sure some promise there. Keep at it, and I hope you have a successful season. I see some W’s in your future. I’ll be following it for sure. Though I’m afraid Waverly will take this one. Good luck to both teams!

I'm definitely looking forward to next year. Peabody had such a young team this year. It will be a good year no doubt. I hate that we now have to wait 8 months for more high school football.

That’s where they’ll say something that Peabody has open enrollment. But honestly, how many folk does that to make an advantage for? Please someone point out an advantage!! Off the top of my head the only thing that stands out is someone who lived and played sports for Trenton yet had to move for one reason or another. Trenton’s rental market isn’t booming to say the least .

I completely agree. I’ve never seen a game with as many late hits as what happened tonight. I called it this week that both sides of the ball has to limit penalties. I didn’t see a call on UC that wasn’t justified. I mean the calls were obvious, yet UC still booed. I do want to give the benefit of the doubt, but it was hard for this game.

Arrogance gets you nowhere from this point forward. CA surprised Waverly. They can do the same for you. If they do, you can’t bring up 2 year old losses as if it makes you deserve the next win more. Just sayin.....

Sounds like we’re going to have a packed house tonight. Peabody has already sold out of their allotted pre-sale tickets. The nice weather is bringing everyone out it seems. I tried keeping it updated. When you end a game at 14-7, there wasn’t many updates to be made. There was quite a bit of nail biting going on in that game. Hopefully that won’t be the case here.

The google chrome app? I tried that. It didn’t work. Pop ups started within 5 minutes.

Is there any statistics on the truth to these predictors? I’m just curious. The user interface on USA Today comes off as more believable. Cal Preps appears archaic at best. That’s just my simple thoughts. I am praying for whatever is going on in Union City. It’s not like them to not post. Guys, I’m praying for y’all. I love high school football, but I understand some things are more important. It’s fun to talk it up on here, but I pray for any underlying issue that might be going on. I respect Union City football, their coaches, players, families, and fans. Y’all have my support! I look forward to the Golden battle come Friday!

I think they have to be worried. They know we didn’t have all our players in the last meeting. It was no walk in the park back on Sept 1 for them. I’m sure UC has grown through out the season. I know Peabody sure has on both sides of the ball. Offense is clicking, and boy oh boy is our defense amazing. UC won’t have to eat much crow if they don’t get on here and talk it up. With that being said, I’ll be the first to eat my crow if Peabody loses. I don’t think that will be the case though. Regardless, it is very odd that it’s so quiet considering how big a following UC has on here.

Coach Ward was my first thought when I saw Coach Morris is retiring. It makes sense to me if they went after Ward!
