So let me see if I understand...they went through this process of identifying two candidates, interviewed them...before a live audience...and then decided not to hire either one? Seriously?

Oh, I get that part. But this guy also started off by saying by trying to say it was just horseplay. Even if his boys were wrongfully suspended, he would have a little more credibility if he could manage to muster up even a smidgen of sympathy toward the victim and a little anger toward the alleged attempted rapists and their parents. I would think that a rational parent would be less concerned about the suspension and more concerned that perhaps it could have just as easily been his own son that was pinned down by these guys and a metal rod shoved up his rectum.

So let me see if I understand what you're saying: your boys' teammates pinned another of your boys' teammates down, pulled down his shorts, tried to anally rape him with a metal rod...and your boys' anger is directed toward the coach and the principal. Nice.

Strangely missing in this thread is anyone wanting to hold the parents of the attempted rapists accountable. Lots of hate for the coach...and apparently none for the parents. That makes absolutely zero sense.

i remembered this thread from a couple of years ago while watching our butts get whipped last week. Coffee has the better players, better athletes, and better coaches right now. Haven't seen that big a crowd in that gym in 20 years. I guess that's what a 20 win season will do for you.

we had a nice string of winning seasons up until two years ago. we have more athletes and better athletes than manchester does. which you can see from football. we need a guy who can get the best athletes in the school to play.

well, I was just responding to where you said about "Skipper has not brought in either quality coaches or people. He cant seem to find someone that is both. Its either one or the other it seems"...so I was wondering which you thought applied to the basketball coach...not a quality person or not a quality coach.

any word on what douglas will do? I hear he applied at tullahoma. why would we want him if he's not a "quality coach or person" and has failed at two schools..lol!

When you say "they", do you mean the administration? Did they force the new guy to take him on as an assistant?

But how did he end up on the basketball staff?

i know someone who used to coach there...she told me CC's supplements are percentages of salary.
