This was put up to start the season... being the 1st High School in the Nation to reach 1,500 wins is a big deal. The Indians are at 1524 and still playing. a choke job by the toppers and a great comeback by the Indians was All-Time win #1,500 earlier in the season. Toppers are a classless bunch. They know it, we know.

The Indians eliminated the Bears in Baseball last year in the Region at Sevier County. My buddy said he was surprised that Dolly hadn't put 2 mounds on the Baseball field there. DB won a good game between the 2 schools earlier this Baseball Season. All Region Semi's (Baseball/Softball/Soccer) games are scheduled on Monday at the District Champions sites. Always a great match-up in football between the Bears and the Indians. Some are all-time classics in my book. DB has had the upper hand in those games, but about every one of them have come down to the last possession. Great crowds at both stadiums!

Maybe we will get to play the Smoky Bears in the Region Tournament in Soccer and in Baseball And of course the annual Football game Sept. 9... at J Fred Johnson Stadium this season

there is a very fine concession stand and also restrooms and open deck area on the concourse level (thats at the top of the lower section... it's where the upper and lower deckers meet up at halftime. If you buy an UD ticket, you can set there. They cost a little more than the general admission tickets that Visitors have... almost the entire home side is reserved seating. But not all of the UD is sold out, only about half. The 2 floor press box is on top of that... what a view!

DB will have a new A-D for next year. 80 applicants filed for the job. Maybe your school A-D has applied. The A-D will be over the entire Kpt. City School system Sports Programs.... including Middle School Sports. No doubt having coordinated coaching efforts will help prepare young athletes for HS Athletics. Note: Kpt. Thank you! By the way. Bryce Barrett ran a 48:72 400 meters today...he's a state champ. He will see action on offense in2016. Jordan Jeffers is the #1 Triple Jumper in the State by feet. Indians Baseall is 28-4 and went 12-0 in Diatrict 1-AAA. The 1st time that had happened since '08. Girls Basketball had an All-State Freshman in Courtney Whitson. She averaged 18 pts and 12 rebounds per game...had a double double in her 1st ever game in The Dome 18-18. DB sports is just fine Roll Tribe Roll

Most who make comments about DB Sports, really have no idea whats going on. Glad to see JohnDeere on here. A couple of new assistant coaches to go along with some talent has got some excitement back at J. Fred. The Freshman coming in next fall is a good group... a look-a-like to Chris Sensabaugh will be a strong back for the future.

Numbers are up this spring... 100+ student athletes for Football... which does not include next years Freshman. DB should have a bigger and stronger line. LB's are deepest position on the field. I'm a DB fan and I have seen all the games at J Fred this year. 1st thing....DB coach Ryan Wagner has done an exceptional job this year with 2 returning starters and loosing 9 seniors District 2 AAA - in my option Sevier Co has had really strong teams the last 3 yrs. good team. Region strong Mo-East - I know there good, just haven't sent them. Is there pitching depth? Mo-West - I like your your Coach Fritz. But really not a talented team. However, 1 really good starting pitcher who plays 3rd otherwise. Had a great game against Cincinatti Elder. With some offense the Trojans could have won that game Jeff County - I've seen. Has talent on the field for sure Pitching depth and scoring runs with runners in scoring position wins tournament games Good luck...where is the Region Tournament?

i am hoping BBall Freshman Riamello Wadsworth will play football. he is 14 and is usually the strongest player on the varsity court. The good news is, his older brother moved to Kingsport over the winter break and will for sure be playing. He has good size for a DE - 6-2 275. DB has tons of returning youthful players and they are working hard. We could have a change at QB - and if we do, the RB position will be improved greatly by moving #6 Maupin to RB... his natural position. A stud RB from Sevier may actually move to varisity instantly.... I liken him #32 Chris Sensabaugh with a little more height...physically the same. Haters going to hate an still not show up for a game. Pay the price of admission and actually be a fan. Its great to be a part of the Tribe. The school is loaded with great young athletes and I support them all. Roll Tribe

The 2 players that left for Christ School would have been Seniors last year. Their in Prep School and get an extra yr an that helped Faulkerson get a full ride to UTThis Senior class is not strong in any way. The leader was injured in football and then sick and could not participate in BBall until week 3. He has not been the same since. Too bad he has had a rough senior yr. the others...Thompson couldn't get 3 min a game last year as. Junior. And the Rogers boys quit before and they quit again. That's it.
