prob be a good game... it has been a great rivalry since Graham Clark has been at DB Clark actually has a 12-9 record against the Wildcats.. and is 6-4 at THE SHIP Last year was 17-14 OR - and my guess is DB is much better on the defensive side this year vs last season. Indians have an experienced QB now - witch was no experience in last year's game. Of course... OR has a great tailback that didn't play more than 1 or 2 plays in last years game. It will be worth the price of admission

DB has a a tough schedule. I rate it 2nd toughest out of the Region 1 6A Teams. Maryville rates #1 with non region games that include Fulton and Alcoa. DB has Oak Ridge and Sevier County besides the Tennessee Vilings as non Region games. Happy 4th of July Roll Tribe Roll

NO. Season Opener is a Friday Night. DB has played most Season opening Home Games (for the last 15 yrs or so) on Thursday because of Bristol Race Week. But not this year. District oppenents: Sevier County, Science Hill, Jefferson Co., Bearden, Karns, Campbell Co. a few years with William Blount, a few with Morristown East. Also, a Final 4 playoff year in '92, and 2 Final 8's. The best DB Teams ever, played when they didn't play North East TN Schools. Period 8 Friday Nights from today and it's Football Time at DB!!

Everything starts with a returning Sr. QB - which is much better than where the season started last year.... a QB with no game experience starting opening game. #6 Maupin is a tough, hard nosed competitor. I only have the teams from last year to go on with that... really. Beat those Pats. DB and Jeff County do not play well together. They didn't like loosing to the Indians every single game during 5-A District 1 and it was obvious to everyone that they took cheap shot after cheap shot in those games. So they finally got 1 victory over DB in football last year... will prob. be the last one
