Not really, ask the folks over at Franklin Co. how the Tom Insell experiment went. That is not a great idea.

Dont forget though that MC went over there and beat Summertown at Christmas this year. So they have seen each other. Now if Hawkins is out, it has to be Summertown's game to win.

Grundy County is going to be hosting a 6 team girls varsity basketball play day on Thursday Nov. 10. We currently have South Pittsburg, Richard Hardy, and GCHS. The cost is $40 per game per team. With the new tenure law, you have to be recommended for tenure for 2 straight years. The law went into effect 2 years ago I think, and he fell under the new guidelines. Supposedly, they have board members down there that are saying that they will never give anyone tenure under this new law. I think that he was a "4" OR "5" level teacher and because of it he had to go before the board, but if he wouldnt have been as good a teacher he wouldnt have had to go before the board and it would have been a mute point. Makes no sense they way that our teachers and coaches are done when it comes to their teaching positions.

I cant believe Moore Co. is on this list.

Can you list the schools that are playing on the girls side right now?

Creek Wood? You have to have somewhere to go before you can go and the last time I looked, I believe that they are 26-9 and just beat a very solid and experienced Giles Co. team tonight.

What job in Rutherford Co.?

Imagine how good she would have been if she stayed at Moore Co and worked with a really good coach. Imagine how good that team would be right now.

Pierce from Community is a stud and has been for 3 years now. She should be in the running for this award in Class A.

Sanders from Signal Mountain is one of the fastest kids with the ball in her hand in the state. She does everything for them and their identity as a team is a mirror image of how she plays.

Why is she not playing? She was a really tough kid to deal with last year.
