I know Summit opens up today with scheduled scrimmages against Page and Centennial over the next couple of weeks.... Going to be an interesting season with the largest returning senior class and should be the largest roster since the school opened... What you got going on?

The point about the details of the Indy players is factual..... my comment regarding Indy winning it all is sarcasm...... good luck Red Rebels win it all......

i really don't put much into his predictions..... 5A ball he has Indy players returning as Soph who are seniors and does not mention a heck of a Dback ... then again Indy's division is weak... so Indy will win it all and we can just pack up the season....

I understand Indy at the top (until they loose) but replacing the offensive output from Bunch, Johnson and Wright is IMPOSSIBLE...... Centennial should be in the top ten......

Now the IRS and Sheriffs dept may have found no wrong doing ...... but why then would the case be provided to the Attorney General..... whenever an AG gets engaged there's some meat left on the bone......and wolves love meat....... If laws were broken then all should be held accountable.........and if no laws were broken.... move on and focus on the team and players......

Do you know what there numbers "might" look like.... based on last years roster it seems that they lost a lot of seniors with minimal Jrs and Soph coming up.... which hopefully is not the case.....

Hate to say it but enough with the coach, field, team bashing....of Franklin County....... If you have any idea of how the league will play out....then provide that information..... otherwise keep the negativity to yourself..... and no I do not have any skin in the game with Franklin County.....just cant stand the typical BS on this site when someone posts a logical subject.... Summit will be a little different this year returning 16 juniors as seniors and quite a few soph as juniors ..... Battle tested .... Lebonan was impressive against them last year that QB played some hard nosed FB....

So what is the outlook for Franklin,,,,, QB looked pretty good last year..... needs a strong supporting cast?

If Nolensville gets turf then so do all Wilco HS's at least that's what I was told.......... the 7v7 was a cash cow......and I would venture to say the best collection of talented teams from a 7v7 perspective in Mid TN.....

I heard that the annual Ravenwood 7v7 tournament hasn't been scheduled...... Coaches have already or are probably at the end of filling in spring / summer schedule.....

Someone should start the new positive post.....

I saw a comment regarding "Coach better make it count" which I agree with but the players and parents need to make it count as well......meaning commitment, respect and vision need to be implemented by all.......

Something tells me not to many folks will be offering up this info on a public site.....

Agreed more to a positive experience for the players than just a coaching change but that is by far the biggest piece of the pie..... Next comes commitment from players and alignment with the coaches program,,,,, then positive support from the parents of the players on the team ...... Meaning if a parent has a complaint or does not like something and their concern has merrit and by merrit I don't mean the style of football that is played or if little Johnie isn't getting enough playing time ,,,,,, they take to the appropriate person and not publicly attack the team or do the same in front of the players.... Then strong support from the students, admin and community and lastly the financial support needed by the booster club that enhances the overall program....... The ability for a coach and his staff to change a culture requires positive support from the whole...... If that takes place good things happen..... And culture change is not a sprint it is and always will be a marathon.....

And at the end of the day...... Coaches Coach Players Play Parents Parent ,Fans and sponsors do just that........ be fans and provide financial backing..... I would if I were some of the folks who are fans of the program start a new thread called "RD Football 2016 POSITIVE OUTLOOK" ......... just my O2......

Some folks will never be satisfied.... Old coach gone.... new coach hired so now lets set the sights on someone else to crucify....like Nolan.... The overall expectation that programs return to the glory days as other schools emerge taking talent from the area is well kinda like the stock market,,,, cyclical and goes through corrections... sometimes your up and sometimes you are down.... Embrace the new coach,,, support him and his staff,,,, leave the school girl bashing techniques where they belong... if the coach feels the support it will transcend to the players and at the end of the day that's all that matters,,,, ,,,, its about the team and no one,,, no group,, no donor is bigger than the team.....

Ok I started it so here goes my first pass,,,which will change before the season.... 1.) Indy - however replacing QB, RB and multiple WR's and a couple safety's is going to be interesting.....can't move them from here until someone beats them 2.) Lavergne - seasoned QB returning,,,, 3 / 4 Star WR and LB 3.) Summit - last years team went 4-6 with Soph and Jr's one starting senior (out of 5) finishing 5th 4.) Stewarts Creek - Depth concerns but could see them at #3 5.) Shelbyville - replacing QB and WR will be a concern here 6.) Lincoln County - Coin flip here team was dr jeckle mr hyde last year 7.) Franklin County - based on last yr.... 8.) Columbia Cent - tough spot here..... potential roster looks light....

This post is in direct line with the other threatening to leave one..... And no by all means I'm not a coach ...... Couldn't do it in today's politically correct climate where everyone gets a trophy or the parents blow a fit and demand action.... I don't know Adam either just know what it takes to raise a high school football player and truth be told it's not that hard as long as you instill humility,,,, hard work, discipline and stay out of his way....like i said start a new positive post which I won't since I have no dog in the hunt other than respect for what coaches in general put up with....no one can change as was in yesterday's news....
