The DC was just as bad. All he did was pace the sideline. No headset, no interaction with the team or his players. No adjustments whatsoever. The HC and DC looked like a peewee team coaching duo. At least Coach Rogers from last season made adjustments and called defensive plays. Quinn was very undisciplined tonight. Thankful it's earlier and he can get things together. LC has talent. Just need to coach em up a little more.

The Falcons are traveling to UC less than 100% but still bringing a fight. Looking for a good injury free game.

The season is finally upon us. What a better way to kick off the season than two cross county rivals going at it. Looking forward to a good week..... I'm sure Swo and Shocker will keep us all up to date,.........

LC 0 - COVID 1

No activity until Tuesday or Wednesday next week I believe.

That may correct. I could be mistaken. Either way my child will not take the vaccine at his age. My son was quarantined 7 times last year due to contact tracing. This year is heading the same direction. I'm not taking the vaccine at this time until more research is done. I now my risk and work in public safety. None of us really know these days. All we can do is pray for the situation and or student/athletes.

Vaccine status wouldn't change these situations. Vaccinated individuals are still required to wear mask, social distance, and even quarantine if possibly exposed. The CDC guidelines change with the wind. I wish we had a solve all but unfortunately I believe it's gonna get worse. I see a repeat of last season and that will suck. LC needed the work. Now they loose a week and half of practice leading up to the UC game.

LC has been forced to cancel it's scrimmage with Bolivar this Friday due to contact tracing. No players are sick but contact tracing put several in quarantine.

You never know from day to day with all the regulations put in place by districts and the government. Hopefully everything will stay good and LC travels to UC next Friday.............

Lake County @ Ripley tonight at 7pm.

Just got back from Shelbyville where LC played in a 7 v 7 tournament today. Out of the 22 teams competing LC won the tournament championship. Clay, Tink, Day Day, QB, and all looked good overall. Newcomer Mays is a baller. He is a senior and first year football player.

I'm sure the new Director played a part in that. He's a real winner...........smh.. Coach Wolfe was making progress in WC. Best wishes to the staff in their next venture.

@FridayMainEvent , Lake County had a schedule change. Ensworth was changed with LC traveling to Haywood to face the Tomcats that week.

Ensworth has been scratched as they did not want to travel the following season. LC has scheduled Haywood to replace Ensworth on their schedule.
