I will say this with all certainty, the men that are training these young men, definitely know what they are doing! I told our head coach yesterday that I was impressed! #74 hasn't had a day yet that he hasn't felt the pain of all the work, but he absolutely loves it!! We have the right coach,and doing extra work isn't for everyone I'm sure, but this ol'dad is grateful for anyone willing to help my son reach his goals!! As a parent of one of these young men that is doing the extra workout, I want to say THANK YOU!! What you and Timmy are doing is very much appreciated! I talked to #74 right after the meeting about the off season workout schedule and he was excited to get the chance to work with you all on top of his team workout. I will say this,I can already tell a huge difference in his body! But it goes way beyond that! The fact that you all are taking time away from your families to offer help to these young men is priceless!! He is exhausted every night, but is loving every moment!! Again....Thank you all for what you do!! God Bless!!

From what I have seen, it does appear GP has improved. But even though we have alot of work to do on both sides of the ball, the kids and coaches are working their tails off each and every day!! I have to say..... I am impressed with players and staffs work ethic. This bunch will not look past anyone, but as the leaders before them established......that doesn't surprise me!! My pick is us by 18 points.40-22

Please tell LJ we are very happy and proud of him!! I know the work that young man has put in,and its great to see it pay off for him!! He is a class act and a very fine young man!! I will be keeping up with him and me and #74 will be coming to a game whenever we can to show our support!! Happy for you and the family Pujo!!!

Not sure how it can be labeled good ole boy way, when everyone knows we are getting the best young coach in the area!! IMHO both sides wins!! CHS deserves a leader who can get the program back up were it belongs, and Mike can do that!! HHS, deserves the best coach to replace him, and IMHO, we are getting that coach!!

You nailed it Pujo! And what more could anyone ask for in a coach? He HAS EARNED this opportunity, and I am one that is Sad to see the older one go, but he has left this group in very capable hands!!

Not sure how you can say Mike runs away from rebuild, from what I have seen he just reloads year end and year out wherever he is!! He certainly will not be going to greener pastures for now IMO.As for being like father like son....... This Dad is very glad that Michael is alot like his father!!! Because we are getting a very well deserving young man,that has earned his right to be a head coach at Hampton!! He has a wealth of knowledge about this game, has bust his butt for these kids and LOVES Hampton!!! Remember, this young man played at HHS for 4 years, and has coached for several as well!! I would say he is willing to re-build, reestablish, or reload cause he loves these kids and this community!! And he has OUR support!!!

I would say yes Mike Jr. Is more than ready!! The young man has a lot of knowledge about the game and can relate to these young men!! They respect him and will work their tails off for him IMO!

Something tells me that your gonna hear from King on that one pal!!! Lol!! But I'm with you bud,hopefully this gets made official one way or the other soon. Our kids are in good hands either way!!

I understand things like this takes time.I certainly understand and support Mike if he leaves.After getting to know him not only as a coach but as a man,Its obvious he takes pride in being a coach but also as a dad!!! Michael has earned everything he has up to this point and I feel there is no one I would want stepping in to coach this team more than him. He has EARNED it!!! But if its the school board or the school, whomever is holding up what's going to happen needs to make things official SOON!!! The kids at cloudland as well as the kids at Hampton deserve to know what is going on instead of having to listen to hearsay!! I really hope they make whatever is happening official quickly instead of trying to wait out til the end of the school year!! if cloudland gets Mike, most people up there already know this, but in my book your not only getting one of the best coaches in the state,but also one of the most caring people when it comes to kids as I've ever seen!! I just hate that we are gonna have to beat him!!! LOL. And Pujo, don't you dare jump ship completely!! Me and #74 have got to use to you being around for you to bail on us now!!! LOl. Gooooooo Dogs!!!!!!

I just want to say again.... LJ is an amazing young man as well as athlete!! He has impressed me on not only his skills and work ethic but on how he conducts himself on the field!! There is no showboating, just scores, and goes back to work! He along with the rest of these leaders have set the bar for these underclassmen. I cant say enough what they have meant to my son! I hope he has a great season in all of the other sports he plays! We love that young man and wish him nothing but the best outta his future!! True leader and amazing young man!!

This young man don't just talk it, he LIVES it!! I have spoke with him numerous times this year, and having something bad happen to him at the worst time of his career, and he still handles himself in a Christain manner and gives God praise!! I know that kid was hurting both physically and emotionally, but he still conducted himself like the leader he is and a fine young man! I hope and pray he recovers quickly and look forward to seeing what is in store for him down the road! He is a class act and I love that kid, not only for what a fine young man he is, but for the example he sets!! You and the better half have done very well with all 4 of these young men pal!!

I'm not making excuses, we got beat!! Yes there were some untimely calls that didn't go our way, but that's the way the ball bounces sometimes! I think if #7 doesn't get hurt then the game is a lot better than what it was! I pray that young man is okay!! Because he is an AMAZING young man and athlete!! Marion did have some kids that let their emotions go a lil overboard at times, but I did see that the coach got them out quickly!! I was impressed with the way the lineman all hugged our lineman after the last snap! And I can't say it about all the team, but I personally shook #1 hand when he was exiting the field and the kid hugged me and said thank you sir when I told him he played a great game!! That impressed me about that young man!! Now to our #7,#9, #20, #65,#16 #33#66#21 and any other Seniors that I may have missed....... You young men have meant more to #74 these last 2 years than I could ever put into words!! You gave our young kids a roadmap on work ethic, as well as how to conduct yourself on and off the field!! From this Dad....... I SAY THANK YOU!!!!!!
