We have had two kids leave within a year because they thought that they would have a better opportunity elsewhere. We had seven guys out last night and I think we had two more go down. The injury bug is not being very nice and the UPS man hasn't shown up with our instant recovery pills yet! We need to grow up and get gritty quick.

We did. I hate to see that. They were at Boyd a long time.

The third transferred to ND after about three games last year. Henke should get the ball more, if not every play. The state of the union is hard to look at currently. It's a definite head scratcher.

To clarify, we have too many teachers coaching football and not enough football coaches.

We have too many kids that want to be on a football team and not enough kids that want to play football. We also have too many administrators coaching football and not enough football coaches.

I hope we can score. That would be an improvement for us.

It only seems right with the Pirates coming to town. Two tested captains with loyal crews meet again in the open waters...arrg!

And should be. Our line likes to watch instead of block, causing injury to our QB and FB tonight. Our coaches like to call the same unsuccessful plays over and over(probably because our line won't block)...did I mention that our line doesn't like to block?!? We do have a great looking field.

Congrats to Whitwell! Very good looking team! We were outmanned and out coached. Our lack of blocking sidelined our 1 QB and 1 FB. If some drastic changes aren't made it's going to be a long year. Good luck the rest of the way out.

We switched to the wing t. It fits our personnel this year and would have last year as well. Are you guys up or down this year?

We have a good group of seniors but otherwise we are pretty young. New offense, QB competition and young line will be the nail we hang our hat on. It will be fun watching them improve as the weeks go by. Henke is a great competitor and we have several others that like to play as well. Whitwell will be ready and so will we! Glad it's finally here. Stay healthy.

That would not be a good first impression to our new club members. We have not lost a home game since loosing to Tyner in the second round of the playoffs in 2015. Luckily we have lots of snakes and gators lurking in The Swamp!

I used to live in Perry Co., back when they didn't have football. My cousins have played so I've always kept up with the program. Good luck and stay healthy!
