I was surprised we lost to Midway the way we did a week ago. Was even more surprised we beat Sweetwater the way we did. I haven’t been posting since last football season, so I’m curious to see how this game goes. Any thoughts?

Amount of athletes. I said that.

You may be right about the long passes and I could see Tyner winning just because of who they have on their team. The amount of great athletes they have is incredible. Athletes we don't compare, but I bet they have more heart. They want to win and it's shown. I kind of feel like this compares to Austin East. Not saying Tyner is AE and AE is Tyner, but both have some pretty good athletes. I only mention AE because the players alone are similar to what Tyner has to offer. I do believe Rockwood will be prepared, obviously I have to say that or what kind of fan would I be? I want them to win, but I won't be surprised if they don't.

Are you coming up here to watch the game? I probably won't get to go, but from my house I can hear the announcer and the crowd. Even inside of my house LOL.

You've done cursed us. I saw you replied to the post and I expected you to say we'd get beat just like everyone else. We've got some bad juju now, LOL.

Mistakes or not, I'm hoping for a good game and not a blowout like others are talking about. To see a team like Rockwood, who hasn't made it to the state championship in an extremely long time, would be a nice story to tell. Obviously this will be the toughest game they'll play in an extremely long time too.

This is exactly why I wanted to see Rockwood play Tyner. I want to see where Rockwood matches up. I was curious on why Coach Webb doesn't schedule a team like Tyner. To see where we stand. They've been the underdog plenty of times, and I understand Tyner is by far the better team and no comparison to Meigs at all, but we will see.

Meigs is no Tyner. Tyner is a great football team. That's why a few weeks ago I wanted to play them. Playing Tyner will really test and see how good Rockwood actually is. I personally wanted to know that. I was saying also a few weeks ago, how come Coach Webb doesn't schedule a team like Tyner or some of the better teams and gauge how good his team is.

You don't either! A lot of people will say there's no way Rockwood can win this game and or the Rams will roll. You absolutely never know until you get on that field! I hope both teams play well and no one gets hurt. I for one hope this is a back and forth game until the last few seconds, minutes, or whatever. I would love it if Rockwood proves everyone wrong like we did tonight against Meigs, but we will see.

I said a few weeks ago, I was really wanting to see Rockwood play Tyner and well here we go! Huge game for both teams!!

People said the same thing about the Meigs County game.

I was hoping this matchup would happen!

I'm hoping Coalfield wins it, but I wouldn't be surprised on the outcome either way.

I know everyone isn't giving Rockwood much of a chance, considering how well Meigs is playing, and who they have on their team, but I know Rockwood probably knows it, and I'm hoping they use it as some sort of fuel.

I have nothing against Marion County at all. Honestly, they could easily win this game with the way they're playing. It won't be surprising either way.

I'll take Tyner this week. Some will disagree and that's okay.

I had misinformation. Website I read was wrong. Looked it up on the Rockwood site and it was 14-14. I was right about Meigs running away with it in the second half though for sure.

If Rockwood plays the way they did against SN, this game could be over by the beginning of the 2nd quarter. Rockwood and Meigs earlier in the season was tied 14-14 at the half and RW completely blew it in the 3rd quarter and Meigs dominated the game afterwards. We will see how this game goes.

Rockwood intercepts the ball and Rockwood wins 29-20.
