  1. Couldn't agree with you more. We owe a lot to these men and women who have served. Looking forward to good game tonight. This is what the playoffs are about.
  2. Did you get your trailer moved? I need something to do.
  3. You got clowns out in your neck of the woods too?
  4. Excellent athlete. Has he committed anywhere yet?
  5. Well said. The game is won or lost up front in my opinion.
  6. 3 turnovers in our own territory. Can't put in on the ground or in their hands.
  7. Lawless out, Wilhoite out, both kickers, Elliott out.
  8. Thank you. He has worked very hard in the weight room for three years and it has definitely helped in the 4th quarter.
  9. Sorry about that. How is the young man that got hurt? Hope for a swift recovery.
  10. Not crickets, just at the field watching the boys compete. As to meteoric rise, Coaching makes a difference, commitment to the strength and conditioning program, what else is there to say. Make the kids believe and the rest will take care of itself. Success breeds success.
  11. I'll look for him. Been 30 years so I know I haven't got any prettier.
  12. 1984. Went to MTSU with a bunch of guys from Gordonsville. Chili Bean, Butch Agee and Jason Montgomery. Well Brush Creek anyway.
  13. Yes he did, Randy, good ball player as well.
  14. That's funny. When I was in school, the folks that lived under the hill were Groundhogs and the people on top were Billy Goats. Lots of inter county rivalry. I went to school with the Coach's uncle. He is a good Coach and good for the kids. Hated to see their QB (Jennings) go down with the knee injury a few weeks ago. Bright future in baseball with a 90+ mph fastball. He'll be back though. Ole Miss is lucky to get him.
  15. Being the dad of one of the players that came from BA in 8th grade, I can speak for our situation. We made the choice based on the character of the coaches represented at Nashville Christian. No one asked us to go there nor did anyone promise anything to us other than they would support us in making sure that he kept his grades up, give him the training that would give him the opportunity to succeed in both the classroom and on the field. I have had the pleasure of watching him grow up knowing that the Coaches cared not just about whether the kid was a good athlete, but making sure that he grew into a good person. Regarding the move to DII. I am very pleased with this decision albeit I would have liked to see this happen sooner. I can tell you it is no fun for either Team when the scores are lopsided. Even though we have two losses this year, they were good games and fun to watch. Looking forward to the next three games as I expect them to be good games. Coming from a small school in Dekalb Co myself, I know that you can't underestimate a small rural school since they have heart. In the end, it is about the boys out there on the field regardless of public or private.
  16. They are probably tired of hearing people whine and complain about how things are not fair, and my all time favorite, Cheaters. Hopefully we can just give everyone a trophy and make them feel better. Right Rudy?
  17. Good kid who can really spin the ball. Look to see a little different type of offense next year.
