How many were by Roberts family from Madisonville that like to get on here and hype the kid up?

My opinion is that Gilbert is better than Roberts.

I'm not jealous. I've stated several times both of these kids are very good Class A players, but they get away with too much dirty play, too much yapping. That falls on the coaches.

Roberts is faster, but Yates is better without the extracurricular stuff.

Who wouldn't he pull for one of his own in this game? After all he provided you with the biggest player on your roster this year.

That is just the way Silvey plays. He is dirty and does take cheap shots.

Did Roberts get in trouble by coaches for his actions before the game at South Pitt? I know as a high school football fan, his actions have no place in this game we all love. That had to be embarrassing for Greenback fans.

The South Pitt team this year is the smallest one I can ever remember seeing.

This one is for all the marbles. I know I have been hard on Greenback this season for some of unsportsmanship a couple of their players have shown this season, but that is to take nothing away from what they have earned this season. They have a really good football team. I think the gap has been narrowed between the West and the East, but still not enough. Dresden has went through a gauntlet to get to the championship game. Greenback's road has not been as taxing or as tough. This one will be close for a half, but Dresden will hit for more big plays and wins this one 41-28.

After reviewing some film on South Pitt I totally agree that Roberts won't be the fastest man on the field. He is a fast player but SP has speed to burn. I give Greenback an edge in the line play but SP will use their home field and speed to take this one 27-14.

I would say that Greenback would have at least two losses playing SP's schedule. This is a good team, but I was a little disappointed in their physicality the other night. Coalfield was a more physical team. I know SP will be more physical and have more speed.

After watching these two teams play Friday night, Greenback was the better team (not 3 or 4 TDS better). Coalfield is better coached. The Willis kid at quarterback is a good player, but better at safety. The McKinney kid is twice the QB and S as the Willis kid though. I wasn't impressed with Roberts like I thought I would be. Coalfield didn't have anybody impress me running the ball. Good game between two good teams. I don't see Greenback winning state. They don't have the passing game they will need.

Was really surprised Greenback only won this game 1-0. Was Unaka really that stout?

Been sitting back and watching this thread. Not much talk for such a huge game for both teams. I underestimated this Greenback football team's coaching staff. They've passed the test from my perspective. I have been a bit hard on Greenback's Kayne Roberts. I just calls it the way I sees it. He is a great back. I just have a problem with his antics. I believe this Greenback team is the one from the East to get a state championship. Coalfield seems to playing good football, but they will be hard pressed to stop the Kayne Train Bringing the Pain. Greenback 42-20.

South Pittsburg wins this one, because Fayetteville has never had much of a team. It will end in a coupdl of weeks when the Green Machine comes to play the tri-state all stars.

I would love for this to a good game, because I plan on showing up unless my work schedule doesn't allow me to. I don't think Hampton will be able to slow the A-E train down. I've been following both teams this season and checked the Roadrunner out earlier this year. When they play, they re the real deal. Hampton struggled with a small Cloudland team. That is enough to tell me that A-E will roll 49-14.

I give Cloudland a chance in this game because Coalfield has problems stopping the run. I hear the #1 for Cloudland is a load. That is what a Harriman fan told me. He said he doesn't have the speed of Roberts, but is a tough runner and doesn't trash talk or celebrate after every run like Roberts.

This game will be over before it even starts. From what I was told Oakdale could have beaten Oneida if they had scored the four times they were in the red zone. Oakdale ain't no Greenback. Greenback will destroy Oneida for the second time, but it will be worse than the first time. Greenback 56-0.

Two of their best players have been wearing casts and another of their best has been wearing a knee brace and the Pace kid has been wearing elbow pad.

I would bet my life they won't show for the game. They have already said they were too scared to play. They are used to playing those weak schools up in your neck of the woods. So I give them 0% chance of showing up.

If Harriman was healthy I would pick them by 5 touchdowns, but they are banged up. Cloduland's weak schedule will hurt them and Harriman gets this one 34-20.

Prayers to the Hancock County community, football team and this family that is dealing with a heart-wrenching tragedy.

My money is on Unaka not making the trip. If I'm Greenback, I sell tickets for an autograph session for Kayne Roberts. His family would buy the tickets up and Greenback would make a ton of money. They just don't need to let TSSAA know because they will want a big piece of of the pie.
