They all train year round to be better and most of them without a so called “feeder school". I have been wondering this since I heard that BA lost to trinity, but if BA wouldn't have lost to trinity, would they be the states best team ever?? No one ever really threatened them in a game all year except the trinity loss and state title and they scored at least 41 in all their wins except one game.. Let me know yalls thoughts on this I just figured I'd ask see what happens

yes Brentwood Academies offensive line this year was one of the top in the country they averaged 6'3 to 6'4 across the board and 285 with 2 SEC tackles and every now and then another guy going SEC would come in and play guard who weighs 315 so the average would jump when he went in. They had 2 1000 yard rushers and the QB threw for almost 2000 and they scored at least 41 in all their wins except for one leading them to state title

your funny they did get whipped and the reason deuce was off is bc of the indy secondary being good, unlike alcoa's. when cpa had time to throw they moved the ball. and while they do run ball, they do it differently than west does it as in one is veer option, while other is smashmouth power I. The only way alcoa could beat sevier is if they got pressure and from what i saw their dline was overrated imo. hillsboro lost to indy by 8 so there is no way theyd lose to alcoa. Hillsboro's dline is big and their db's press as good or better than any team team that won state, thats what gave indy so much trouble. The only way alcoa wins is to get the team to win is make them get penalties

no, you realize Hillsboro lost to Indy by 8 right? Alcoa hasn't seen a team in a while with the athletes that Hillsboro has and the talent they have. They wouldn't beat Sevier because their secondary isn't that good and they could throw on it all day but it would be a shootout bc Sevier defense isn't great

Being at this game and watching it, sevier counties oline got whipped all night up front and caused deuce to have run for his life and banks to have no running lanes. However, when deuce did have time he did have some bad throws so it was a little suprising as I figured he'd be laser accurate with the ball. Also, it seemed like sevier had no defensive game plan they looked lost from the start and they played their CBs in weird positions all night with their hips turned by their alignment. Give it up to Blade though he coached a good game and Bunch played spotless. He is the real deal at qb

I watched them scrimmage BA and this past Friday they rely a lot on the insdide run game their QB is a tebow type kid who runs it a lot on keepers and fakes. Their rb is good and he is a track guy and big and is physical. They rely on on quick passes and screens to get 23 the ball and he will also be at RB some. He is the punt returner and kick returner who houses one at least once a game. Their defense isn't big but is always in good positions due to coaching. The defense weakness is the corner position due to both of them being smaller type kids. They will utilize 23 in many spots to maximize his touches however they can do that's the breakdown

you know who wasn't scared to go up to bowling green and “git robbed" and ended bowling greens wining streak last year at bowling green: Mccallie. That shows that D2 teams have the guts and aren't afraid to play out of state power houses and can win unlike maryville who chickens out for lame excuses thinking that a game in the 70's where they got robbed out of state still would happen today.. did I say it didn't count? Science hill came out that night and played a heck of a game.. Malik McGue was the best single player BA has played in the last 5 years in talking over Corn Elder and others.. He single handily destroyed BA'sdefense.. I garauntee maryville watched that game on film and changed the stategy in fact I know they did bc at states last year I asked how they did it and they didn't rush Any of the dline while the BA game BA rushed them and they lost contain and McGue scrambled also combine that with turnovers and you have a ball game
