  1. Clarksville is lucky to have him. Hos defense kept the Cougars in the game against Harpeth.
  2. Lots of things being said about the move when it happen C.F. I know more money was involved but also heard there were other internal things as well. Either way, I think after watching our new DC, our program will have to outscore our opponents because we can't stop anyone. CA coach picked us apart!!!!
  3. Does anyone know if this game will be televised or shown on NFHS Network? Would love to see it.
  4. I have said repeatedly, the better team won that night. I said we got out coached as well. That means they were better and better coached. Don't confuse my comments with others. I call it like I see it. I am super concerned about our new DC. Has yet to make any adjustments 3 preseason and 1 regular season game in. Losing our DC who was also our strength coach is proving to be terrible for us so far. Nevertheless, I will be there to root the Eagles on every Friday night like always.
  5. You clearly can't read or don't have good reading comprehension skills. What did you get on the ACT? By the way, 1 out of 4 and bad. Well, it kinda is
  6. Wilhoite has 119 carries for 1250 last year as a Jr. Myers 117 for 1173 last season as a sophomore. We had depth at the tailback position a year ago. If you read the earlier thread, I said NCS can't afford injuries. My understanding is CA comes to NCS next year. You will get to see that back up close. Good luck to CA
  7. We looked good against Pearl with Xavier running the ball. Jesse was a flat out beast against Wayne County. Need both those guys in their positions to have a chance to be a special offense
  8. Xavier did not play last night and heard it could be another week or so
  9. 4265, your coaches did a great job last night and so did your players. CA was better than us last night. Make no mistake about it.
  10. As for me calling out our coach, I call it like I see it. CA made adjustments. CA staff got the best of our staff. Our kids played as hard as they could. Coaches put our kids in bad positions. We never shifted when CA sent a player in motion. That means we get out flanked and they have numbers. We motion a player, CA adjusted. We didn't have numbers. That's called coaching Playerscoach! The same crap has been going on all preseason. We have lost some wars over the years but not like this. Not from poor game planning. Our kids deserve better and if you don't think our kids deserve better, maybe you shouldn't be a NCS fan
  11. Some kids are better served to be an offensive player. That's why there are two sides of the ball. I don't say he was a bad kid, he AIN'T a defensive player!
  12. I knew we would have to score points to win this game tonight. It was a terrible move by NCS to let John Crosby, the best DC in the state, leave campus. Our new DC is terrible. We have been giving up contain the entire preseason. Every team runs at the same guy, every time they need a play. You move a guy that has played outside opposite Sully to MLB and replace him with this guy? Then our DC who happens to have played and coached LB, can't teach our players proper angles? Now whoever said Lawless wouldn't be getting love without Bituli or he was a non factor has no idea what talent is. That kid took on double and triple teams all night. A more valid statement would be the rest of the team didn't step up. The CA players that were missing I'm sure hurt CA but not as bad as NCS not having 26. Entire offense is based on the run game. No run game meant CA could drop into coverage and nobody was open down field for NCS. Smart moves by CA coach to run at our worst player on D. Surprised more teams don't do that and smart to make NCS prove we could run it without 26. I won't go as far as some CA fans and say you dominated, but CA controlled the game without a doubt
  13. NCS QB is extremely accurate. He is undersized but makes great decisions with the ball. NCS has one of their RB'S from last year back. Should be another typical NCS ground attack. WR's are also back from last year. The taller of the starting receivers is the best one NCS has had since Knoblock graduated. Should put up some points
  14. Looking forward to the drive down to Columbia this week. Really liked what I have seen out of NCS sow far offensively. Lawless looks even better to me this year defensively. Another hard hitting FS to replace Slater Howard in the secondary. Sound be another great game like 3 years ago
  15. Don't talk like that! We can't lose any coaches!
  16. What none sense are you speaking? The coaches will no doubt have the boys ready to play. This is a fan forum in case you didn't realise it. If you aren't excited about the Eagles coming up, don't rain on our parade
  17. I thought I was the only one that felt that way watching it from my couch! Worst feeling I have ever had watching a football game.I am really liking the idea of Kinard getting the nod at QB. I hear the players respect him and as you know that goes along way. Hope we find a way to use both backs on the field at the same time. Will put a lot of pressure on the opposing DC to account for both 11 and 26. Losing 27 and 28 on defense is really going to hurt. Interesting idea to put 9 at FS. Could 9 go to SS and keep 26 at FS. Like we had in the WC game. Just a thought. I also wonder if Parish could slide to OLB and have 20 and 11 as MLB? Not sure how Parish would do there. I have heard nothing about 2. Losing him at CB may be the hardest to replace of them all. Does anyone one know if he is playing or will be allowed to play? Our chances to win the title next year is not as good without him especially if we play Davidson Academy. Their Coach does a great job with the air attack
  18. 2ho has offered that you know of?
  19. With Clarksville Academy now in our region, only leaves 2 non region games for NCS. I have heard we will play BGA and FRA. The big showdown in the region on the west side will be NCS vs. Davidson. Could have another 9 win season. I look for more of an Arkansas approach to offense next year. Feed the RB'S. I think we will have the two best in the region. Davidson also has a really good back
  20. Of the games I have seen this year, the thing that holds #11 back is personal fouls for loosing his cool. Whether or not something was said to him, he can't react. He is the team leader or one of them at the very least and simply can not do that. He will play on the next level and trust me, there will be a tremendous amount of name calling and trash talking. 11 must, MUST, learn to control his emotions not only for his team next year but for his future as a collegiate football player
  21. Oh good! Looking forward to destroying Clarksville Academy
