Mr. Moore was a good "yes" man and graduate of SP that’s why he was hired. I pert near guarantee you Grider didn’t want to return to the SP program in two years so let’s stop talking about leaving after two years and this and that. I agree with you as well Bassy. They did lose some key players. Just expected/wanted a little more I guess. I love seeing these boys from the valley win! I am a MC grad but over the years I have grown to wishing,hoping and praying that these young men win games. I have found myself cheering for kids from SC to SP nowadays.

I agree consistency does in some cases create successful programs given the atheletes! Desire to coach college or pro? Really? Are you saying he's that good? No maybe the desire to coach a Baylor or McCallie type school yes! He's still young life's about taking chances when they are given nowadays! You will rarely find loyalty when given a pot of gold! Times have changed.. example Georgia fires a coach with a winning % of 80%? The shoe(s) fit pretty well and didn't need much breaking in these last two years at MC..

All I am saying is the Sequatchie game should've been a closer game. And yes, I believe they had more talent than Bledsoe 34-0 was the final in that one. I feel that was a game they should've won or atleast been competative in as well, maybe a 4 qtr game... I do agree they went as far as they should have this year.

I would have to agree with you Truth... No way Bledsoe or Seq. was that much better. I watched a couple of Tiger games this year. They had the talent to win a few more these past few years.

A ton of talent but the coaching just isn't there yet! No doubt Helton is a good man from what I hear just not a very good coach. Sounds like he sure knows how to lift them weights though...

I believe what we have here is one of those Trezvant posters under the covers of panzemaina... You would've been a little more believable if you would've come in here wtih something like Longhorn, Buckie or Brokebackmountain.... Secondly, I'm a graduate of MC and coaches come and go. He is a great coach "my opinion" he is a leader of young men, he prepares them for adventures far greater than wining a football game. I will be the fist to admit wining is everything in HS for both the boys and coaches. You see brokeback, we embrace these winning days because as we all know they come and go... Just like coaches... Thirdly, I could care less if the man's child goes to school at MC. Alot of others from SP, WHS and MC feel the same way. You being the father of children would'nt you want better for your child? Private education where the child would not have to worry about harrasment if his father didn't win 10 games a year? My father coached me for years in 3 sports, I have to admit when playing for family sometimes you just dont listen as well until you get older...

Zig had them 6th & 7th he stepped down before this groups 8th grade year. Not referring to Zig, he's a good man and good coach (my opinion).

You are correct a building that size would take approximately 2 years to build. Then an additional year to complete football, baseball, soccer fields etc.

Way more support is an understatement. The support now a days comes from social media.. As we are discussing it now. TTP must be talking to the same people I am because he is spot on with all of his statements. I know this is a hot topic with MC officials currently. The last I heard collective decision/planning phase to start in 2016-2017. 2017-2018 architectural design, approval of design, funding. 2020 groundbreaking on construction.

You will not get murcy ruled. But I would venture to say it will be borderline 28 point difference. I do believe SP will go one round deeper in the playoffs next year. No doubt the GC transfer and Mr. Kennemore will be a Chad Pennington/Randy Moss conection. They should make your ground game ever better next year.
