That is a fair point and I think there is merit to that. This was not a move based on wins and losses. There are personality conflicts with players and parents and Coach Marley. The gentleman (TennesseeVol) wanted to make USJ out to be the University of Tennessee. My point is he was winning plenty. Could someone else have done better? Of course. There are always people out there that can win more. There are a lot of people that would have done much worse too. You're a smart guy cofo.

North side played 1-9 Craigmont. That is the same as a bye. That was the only point you made. The rest of your post has no substance thus making it difficult to debate. In the last 5 years USJ and North Side have identical 43-17 records. North side has made it past the second round 1 time in the past 5 years. Meanwhile, USJ has played for a state championship and played in the semis. Does your coach need to be fired?

I do know there is truth to the comer rumors. Whether he goes to riverside is anyone's guess. Mcnairy needs to make a hire. If Mckenzie job is open mcnairy will not get the guy they want if Mckenzie wants the same guy. Mckenzie is the better job.

Mcnairy folks are quiet about this. I would assume they would want to hire before Christmas or at least before kids get back. They let their coach go early for a reason. I would think that was to give themselves an opportunity to make a timely hire.

No team wins big games without a truly special player. Liberty-Newble. Trenton-Malone. Dresden-Wynn. Huntington-Pearson. And when he went down they struggled. People who call TCA a one man show know zero about sports. They're probably adequate t-ball coaches at best.

I get irritated when people call TCA a one man show. Name me a top tier team that does not have that dynamic playmaker. This is true for any sport and any team. So disrespectful to the rest of those guys that play for TCA.

It's strange McCauley left north side then went back. Maybe woodmore is the better fit for longevity. Seems to stay in one place. I've heard both are good coaches.

I agree. I feel that we've just been missing that one play maker the last few years. Just always seem to be one guy short from being a contender. Other schools our size have that one guy that's making the difference.

I actually thought they would end Union city's streak this year. Union city will be the favorite in that district again.

Woodmore and McCauley seem to be the majority of the buzz I'm hearing. Both are at programs that have been winning. It's impossible to know who would be the better fit imo.

Huntington will be a tough out for anyone in 16. I've been told that this is the class they've been waiting on.
