Can anyone give me some info on Union County like offensive weapons and defensive stoppers?

In the A/AA semifinal game between CAK and Sheffield at state, Sheffield had a breakaway in the 2nd half while CAK was up 1-0. Brent Davidson (CAK GK) came out and blocked the guys shot with his leg. That was the most important save of the year for CAK i think because it could have cost CAK the finals.

CAK's high school has around 300 kids, so they aren't going to AAA any time soon and they don't give out scholarships so it's not looking like DII is a possibility either. I'd say that CAK is pretty much staying A/AA for awhile.

I'm not sure how he is doing right now, but he separated his shoulder and is going to get an MRI soon to see if he needs surgery. Please pray for him everybody.

I'm gonna say that Sam Ferguson's (CAK) free kick against Seymour in the District Finals that put CAK up 2-1 was the best that I saw this year. It was a direct kick that was about 25-30 yards out that he put into the upper 90 of the right side. thumb

If CCS has no offense and little defense, then how did they make it to state finals?? Give CCS the credit they deserve.

This game just shows you that no lead is safe until the game is over. At any level, a big lead at half time can turn into a loss if you drop off the pressure.

FRA is a very talented team and has been playing some great soccer all year long. I'm gonna have to go with FRA on this one, but a team that plays with heart is the most dangerous team on the field, such as LC.

Interesting tidbit there, Jorj. However, I wouldn't be surprised either if Seymour came out on top. If LC can keep the ball away from Omar in the back I think they will do well. Also, Seymour plays a lot of long balls down the line so LC better make sure your outside mids are ready to run.

I believe that Brent Davidson and defense have a .699 GAA at CAK.
