  1. Having 2 boys at JP2- and playing in the conference we do for all sports- has led to much character building
  2. You are correct from a demographics standpoint as JP2 should have been built in Murfreesboro or Williamson County. Still, the enrollment for the freshman and sophomore classes are at all-time highs. And my boys attended St Joe's so i am aware of the enrollment issue. I would argue that some of the diocese schools are in less than desired areas.
  3. I have 2 boys that attend JP2. Neither play football. The 2 most recent incoming freshmen classes have been the largest in the school's history. My guess is with 80 people a day moving to Nashville, some might be northerners that value a Catholic education.
  4. Keep in mind BA only has 350+ kids in the high school.
  5. Yep, Camron Johnson would get my vote as well. If needing more I would suggest Gavin Schoenwald, QB/#10 from BA.
  6. FWIW- Michael Brown will be named TBCA Coach of the Year...AGAIN.
  7. ... and then days later unannounced the new coach.
  8. My comments were not directed at the new coach, rather why the move was made to replace the current coach. Change for the sake of change is not always a good thing.
  9. The real question is why the JP2 position became available in the first place. Coach Michael Brown was essentially terminated and is not leaving on his terms. Michael is a good and godly man, excellent baseball coach (2x TBCA Coach of the Year) and devout Catholic. His teams have posted 6 consecutive 20 win seasons and is 1 series win away from returning to the Final Four.
