Tate does nothing like this.

The only maturity Tate has in IMmaturity. He needs to focus on making his team better instead of trying to break down other teams because all of his players go to these places.

I tell y'all York fellers one thing...I know for a fact we have coaches in the past that would listen in on the opposing teams plays.... might wanna whisper Friday night.

That is my prediction too. We will be out coached.

That is like our head coach in Grundy County. He made a cupcake schedule this year and we have won a game outside of you all. I believe he is 3-27.

I would highly doubt the Director of Schools would hold Tate accountable. He gets away with whatever so he thinks he is above the rules. He has ruined student athletes left and right that have had to stay in Grundy, but nothing matters. What county is even considering offering him a job?

I don't get why. Any other system would've let their head coach go by now if they are half of Casey Tate. A horrible role model and even more horrible coach that kids do not want to play for. I hear we for sure win this game tomorrow. I sure hope at least. Maybe Tate will stay home.

I just never knew how you all got your nickname. Hate this for your son. A head coach shouldn't hold that against the kid. Like I've said a bunch he shouldn't be head coach of water polo.

That is sad that he benched your son over comments on here. He is already putting his team in a bad spot with either of your sons on the bench. I remember watching you and your brother in high school and I also remember you all getting called that....now I finally know why lol

I remember being at the game and them asking. Maybe this year they have planned ahead somewhat. Might have to pay some people to do it. I read where the board had to give them money because they were out to go toward equipment, but I also see they took a charter bus. Money probably all gone and our gates will not be good dropping Marion, South Pitt and Whitwell.

The kids that are leaving us have parents that are knowledgeable about football. With the amount of student athletes that have left you would think something would be done.

It's not going to matter if 127,676 people go to the administration he will stay. I've gone to administration who tells me go to board, I've talked to board members felt I got some leeway when the new board was voted in. They at least tried, but it ultimately comes down to the director who isn't qualified for her job in the first place. I don't really have a dog in the fight now with my family member graduated. I just still care about this county and want to see the kids benefit. They will not under Tate in any form.

Anywhere but Grundy with Tate as coach. He has single handily ruined our program. I hear he also coaches little league...good grief!

He will be there as long as that administration is in. I made numerous calls and it's we need to give him one more year, one more year. Things just get swept under the rug here. A lot of things happen in that fieldhouse that would've gotten even a college coach fired...not our God Tate. I've lost faith in our system.

I think it would be safe to say a majority do want him gone. I didn't attend the game, but I hear that was definetly a game we should've won or Tate wouldn't have scheduled them. His coaching record is 2-19. Teachers have been let go--one teacher told me because of her scores--guess that doesn't apply to coaches.

I 110% agree. You people off the mountain may not believe me, but his job security is better than Saban's. Absolutely horrible coach...almost last in the whole state of TN for wins, absolutely cocky guy in general. Our administrators and central office staff look as bad for letting him coach after ALL that has happened. Not many coaches would be able to still be coaching with doing what Tate has let happen. Our powers to be sure didn't hesitate to fire a basketball coach or cheerleading coach for something that don't hold ANY light to what happens in that locker room. I just don't see anything changing for us.
