  1. Quarles is probably going thru a stack of offers as I speak.
  2. Ill1999 I'm confused about your use of "we" and "your". What high school team do you support? That answer should clear it up for me. No recruiting in county or out of county. Isn't recruiting against TSSAA rules.
  3. Don't have to dig too deep if ya got a respectable foundation.
  4. The kids from Knoxville were in good standing. One had to sit out almost have the year before he played. I'm thinking you can live in OR and go to Clinton with no problems. I think. Doubt that Mike Mullins or Joe Gaddis are afraid or ashamed about how they did/do their job.
  5. Well yea, each Villa would have a register.......just no billing.
  6. I'm thinking more about the waterfront next to Calhoun's (maybe catch a glimpse of the white van when that bunch pulls in). And I'm not talking families here ("no parents required" as stated in original fantasy), I'm talking football players. I'm not talking driving around Knoxville. I'm talking talking about chauffeuring them from Villa Ln. to the school and back. TSSAA....watcha gonna do?
  7. Are we missing the point about the 2 bed 2.5 baths waterfront villas?
  8. Besides, I'm not talking only Knoxville. I'm talking Nashville, Memphis, upper East Tennessee. I would think many of the transfers within Knox Co. have a longer commute(time and/or distance) to their chosen school than to Oak Ridge. Get'er done. TSSAA......watcha gonna do?
  9. Knoxville is too far away. See Clinton thread. Market is terrible. Houses "fly off the shelves" in this town. Get'er done. TSSAA....whatch gonna do.
  10. Ok guys here goes. Oak Ridge has plenty of money in this town and an outstanding alumni network. Let's begin building a series of 2 bed 2.5 baths villas out on the water and go looking for football players. It won't take long before their looking for us. No parents required. TDSSA........watcha gonna do?
  11. His brother was a very fine young man and ORHS grad. Got appointed to a Service Academy I think.
  12. If true, do they even made to attend classes.
  13. I thought there were rules about vacating property, turning off utilities ect. inorder to transfer.
  14. Just amazing that parents would packup a house, possibly move multiple children, drive back and forth to work,ect.,ect. So that a kid could a sport for two or maybe just one year. Then what?
  15. TSSAA doesn't have any -alls much less a foot. The agents/handlers are in charge.IMO
  16. If the above is true, I had no idea that many families would pack up and move so their son could play football for Clinton or any other program. Getting old I guess.
  17. How much tuition does an Oak Ridger pay to attend Clinton schools? Then vice versa.
  18. NIL, recruiting, are you'll talking college or high school.
  19. If he's an Assistant then he has a Supervisor?
  20. It's become the lamest oversight/governing body I can think of. Total derelict of duties. Seems to have started when Knox Catholic was given public school status Penny Hardaway.
  21. It seems that some of us want high school football to be the hometown kids sport. Myself included. "The last pure sports venue". I don't know how, but if someone could start a thread(I don't know how) to discuss just what is happening. Maybe the TSSAA is reading. Just a thought.
