Whoever is at Grundy is facing a very steep uphill battle.. Chris Picket was the only one who could withstand the storm there. The Bryants were the next best thing for Grundy.. Casey is fine, but they won't let him be. I'd be willing to bet that Tate's tenure is almost up.

As for all of you bringing up the scandal at Jasper in 2013, there's been things happen at both places with coaches, and coaches has done a lot worse things in the past than spray paint. We all know that if that would have happened anywhere else but in Marion County it would not have been such a big deal. Jasper's press box was spray painted by Whitwell a few years prior and I'd be willing to bet nobody even knew that. Do I think the coaches that did that are immature and made a bad decision? Yes, without a doubt. But coaches have done a lot worse before and since. Anyway good luck to both teams next Friday.. Should be a pretty good atmosphere, maybe the best ever!!

How is Kirkendol? It's a shame everybody is talking about the transfer but nobody is talking about kirkendols health. Hope he is recovering well. And as for the boy from Scottsboro, I'm sure if he is a convicted felon there would be no possible way he would be able to enroll at a public school regardless of where. I don't have a dog in this fight, but have always enjoyed the SP/Marion County rivalry. I am a firm believer in second chances, and a lot of people on here should be grateful that there are second chances in the world. I'm sure people that are bashing all this do not have a squeaky clean past, and if the identities are exposed they would be eating a lot of crow. One player starting practice 10 days before the game shouldn't make that much of an impact anyway. Good luck to both teams.

That's sad that Franklin County can get out coached by Tullahoma. Franklin County should be a force every year. They have the athletes to do it. I have a feeling they'll have a new sherrif in town that'll win. It really bothers me that Franklin County doesn't compete. Their coach is a joke, and i can't believe they hired him. Yeah I know he's written books, and won at Ezel, but they were loooooooaaaadddded.

Did Lilly cramp up? I saw in the paper he only had 6 runs all night? I know sequatchie's defense is good, but did they scare vic not to run the football more? I really think Sequatchie may go undefeated in regular season. They won't see anymore speed like SP in the regular season I don't think.. I could be wrong, but they have a chance to have Dunlap buzzing this year.. Notre Dame will put them out again in playoffs, but until then, it'll be a fun fall for the people of Dunlap.

There was plenty of coaches that applied for that job. I really think Grundy is just that dumb when it comes to hiring and firing. 1-9 again....
