Waverly lost by 1. New team new Coach New beginning. Waverly will be high in the ranks. Coach has put a new meaning to girls basketball at Waverly!!! They beat East Hickman and Hickman.

Waverly is making some noise!

Going to throw in Waverly's new girls coach John Tidwell. Don't count them out this year. He has rebuilt girls basketball and the fans are excited about him!!

Not sure with the Waverly boys. Football boys are back in the mix now. Guess we will find out Monday night.

We have a beautiful grass field. Have done scrimmages on turf. So the boys know what the feel is. We have some that are handicapped that are coming to watch. Is the stadium handicapped accessible? Been by the stadium but never to a game there. Hope our fans don't get to loud for the patients at the hospital!!

I know Memphis. Will it be played at Tresvant or where?

Isn't that the truth!!! Maybe if they are they will remember to bring their glasses so they can see when players get kicked in the side, feet stomped and a ball being touched on the 3rd yard line. Crazy stupid!!! The TIGERS won't be on cruise bet that!!

What determines where semifinals are played? Does TSSAA? Or the teams season record?

We parents are on the end zone after the team meeting to see our players, talk to coaches and get pictures. Go Waverly Tigers!!

What a slaughter those Waverly Tigers put on Hickman County! All I can say is WOW!! 47-0. Good job BLUE!! Now what's Cheatam County got?

Waverly may have lost this game, but I bet the boys at Fairview felt the Tigers tonight. Felt there should have been some holding calls made earlier in the game. Very physical game. But it was a good one. Waverly should have won, my opinion. Big plays for Tidwell, Bradley, Whitfield. Final 27-26. Not bad for a 2a school against a 3a.

What's going to happen here with these two teams? Of course I am pulling for Waverly. But I think it's going to be a great game.

These guys play well together. Can't wait to see what they do to Fairview. Heard Fairview is a tough team. I still have to go with the Tigers on this week.
