In this area 3 and 4 seeds are not given a chance, but in Murfreesboro river Dale is a 4 seed and they could beat Mt Juliet if they don’t play ball. How do they decide who goes? Dekalb is garbage and their in. I don’t understand how this works. 8-2 is a 4 seed, but in other areas you have 3-7 teams. Much easier when I played because one and two were the only ones that were allowed to play

Lol! I’m glad this season is over for us. Now we can cheer for the pirates and tigers. I must say the pirates fans and tigers fans have been very supportive of my boys and We’ve never been met with any hostility. My boys have said more than once that the players and fans made them comfortable and welcome when they came and watched these teams play and that made me feel good and I felt I should mention it, because all we ever hear is the bad things that happening when they’re also good things happening even though it’s from teams some consider to be our rivals.

My son said yesterday that York was the strongest team he’s faced this year. No reason for them change what got them there. York wins big

Whitwell playing at home and that relentless defense they have should carry them through to second round. The way it looks third round at South Pitt should be the tigers and pirates first real test in the playoffs. It’s playoffs and anything can happen, but I’m thinking Whitwell wins by a couple scores. I thought I was going to south Pitt Friday, but Evan wants to see Wingo. Tigers fans don’t mind if a couple Nunleys come cheer them on do you?

I don’t know anything about Monterey or their competition. If the pirates play their game and execute like they have all season I’m thinking they should cruse through the first two rounds at least. I’ll take the pirates by couple scores.

It’s not like the pirates need an air raid. Quarterback manages the game without turnovers and play to their strengths they’ll be fine. The only way I know how to inprove on perfection thus far

Most teams don’t take 12 knees in a career. Some would say call them off earlier, but a knowledgeable person knows you have to run your offense and play hard regardless of the score. As long as it’s done with class then I can’t see anything wrong with that. I hope the pirates are enjoying this perfect season they should be proud. I sure am

Good luck to the young men taking the field tonight for Grundy. No shot at the playoffs and they know that the odds of them winning tonight are very low. We were playing Xbox last night and my boys said they wish they could play Upperman even though they would more than likely lose anyway with that many players out. Most people don’t usually volunteer when they know they’re going to loose. Nick Meeks and Brandon Brown have busted their butts preparing these kids and making it fun again. The last two weeks the boys bouncing like a team gearing up for a playoff run. It’s not easy knowing that Your kids want to play with nothing to gain and risking serious injuries. As a father I’ll be scared but very proud of my boys for taking this burden. Nick Meeks and Darrell Graham would be perfect for this team in the future. If you know anything at all about Grundy county then you’d know Darrell Graham would be perfect to help Grundy repair their image and a great mentor to the kids. Win or lose they’ll do it with class like he has since I played against him in Pee wee ball.

I always like talking to South Pitt crew. Straight up and hilarious. I was really surprised of all the support my kids are getting from the SVC . Feels good when others see how special these boys are. They did not deserve the treatment they got from Grundys former head coach. I screenshot some things that were said about them from Whitwell, Dunlap, Marion, and the Pirates. I’m their dad so I’ll always have their back, but it surprised them to see other surrounding areas actually care. Definitely restored my faith that good people are still out there.

Maybe now will shed some light into why I’ve been so angry this year. I couldn’t figure why they were getting treated like they were and cared like they did about that team. They almost started doubting themselves but I’m fortunate enough to have the Coffelts and Jensen. When my boy got his letter from Yale he called Jensen first.

My boys are the first ones there and the last to leave. They’re really good kids and at 17 an 16 are already better men than I’ll ever be.

They run and work out after practice also. They break down certain parts a work out so they’re not hurting themselves. They didn’t get home last night till 730
